How does the horse get out of the swamp?
The changed poll results are accurate, and thankfully I voted for the right one haha
They were referring to Project Beast. TLG won't be at E3.
Like, I've known for a while that Gies is a douche.
But this sort of apologist rubbish? That's just shameful.
How many pages have you traversed?
It doesn't
76 pages? Holy hell GAF. I can only imagine the amount of pages threads get once the megatons start rolling out during e3.
I like how cautious other sites are being reporting on this mishap like kotaku, the mishap is almost entirely escalating into a story of IGN rather than TLG now.
IGN Says The Last Guardian Has Been Cancelled. Sony Says It Hasn't.
They were referring to Project Beast. TLG won't be at E3.
You don't know that...They were referring to Project Beast. TLG won't be at E3.
1 - IGN publishes an article saying that TLG is OFFICIALLY cancelled and citing "internal sources" in the article
2 - IGN updates the title, removing the "officially" from it
3 - Scott Rohde (PlayStation Software Product Development Head for Sony Worldwide Studios America) replies to IGN on twitter stating that TLG has NOT been cancelled.
4 - IGN waits way too long to update the article
5 - IGN updates it but not the title
6 - IGN updates the title with "TLG may be cancelled" and says that one source states that it's cancelled and "anothers" state it's not ("anothers" refers to Scott Rohde)
That's pretty much it I think.
Maybe it's not apologist. Maybe he sincerely does not understand what was wrong with the way they originally presented the story.
Maybe Gies is that bad at journalism.
You don't know that...
I believe all of them at this point. Normally I check the first few pages and then skip ahead to the last few pages, but this was one I just couldn't stop reading.
Oh wow, this thread's still lively? Whatcha all talking about in here?
They were referring to Project Beast. TLG won't be at E3.
I honestly don't think there's a "maybe" about it.Maybe it's not apologist. Maybe he sincerely does not understand what was wrong with the way they originally presented the story.
Maybe Gies is that bad at journalism.
C'mon man. It's been how many years now without so much as a screenshot?
Has that been reported as fact or are you just pulling a Steve Butts here?

*highfive*
I will say, I wonder if Sony put this in motion?
It is a bit hard to believe that they'd give a go ahead to start calling it official unless they felt it was a very reliable source. IGN is saying their source came from inside Sony.
Maybe Sony did this on purpose? They could be trying to simply make IGN more wary of their reporting on rumors like this in the future after all the bad press they've pushed with some of their stories for Sony, its not totally out of the picture
Yeah, but they might have stirred up trouble just to speed up the hype train.
Not really an argument when the strategy has been holding everything back until they are ready for a full rereveal. In fact, E3 is more likely than any other method of it being showed off again.
Tales from my Butts? Well, I was accused of the same thing regarding The Order delay.
But if this is not cancelled, then where is it? I want to know about it too, and I hope E3 answers this question.who read this thread from start to finish? man that was a rollercoaster. so glad the game is not cancelled
