They screwed up the Zelda reveal.
You can tell the teaser was made for a dramatic reveal with whipping the hood off, where they play the teaser without an intro and have the Link reveal.
Instead they completely exposed it.
They should have gone cold into the teaser and then had all of the blabbering after.

Why is this 2015? Why?

I need to see how this fleshes out.

That art, that color, those animations, those particles, that laser/light arrow looking like some wicked technorustic mashup...

Yo.

Also some people here bitching already becuase they think it could be a girl, wow at such blatant sexsism, I wouldnt mind and by the way it would be pretty fantastic, but he is a boy so dont worry. And damn if some of you are not fucked up for not wanting him to be a girl.

Considering a beautiful face and beauty in general an exclusive female trait ISN'T blatant sexism? Yes he is a boy, and he's beautiful too, possibly on par with Zelda herself.

If you look in the distance of the landscape photo you can see what looks like Hyrule castle to the left of Death Mountain. Right where it needs to be.

Give me more info Nintendo! I need it!

I think that some of these juniors are unaware of the yearly culling that often happens in around and especially directly after E3...

I noticed the Mononoke resemblance earlier. But I just realized they are going for a Studio Ghibli movie look. The backgrounds especially look very oil-painting like. Ghibli movies are pretty, so this is good news.

Man, that game looks gorgeous. I think I'll buy a Wii U for this.

Also wouldn't mind if it were a female, but the past few Link's have looked pretty feminie, so keept that in mind, and we may get a choice of genders?

This is what the vast majority of fans want.
But as you know, Nintendo doesn't like giving fans what they want.

It's why they are in this position in the first place.

How do you know this again? Personally, I found the TP style quite bland and boring. Making it HD doesn't save it.

No offense but you are all accepting this will be the game that releases.

You would have all said the same at the first footage (of the completely different visual style) Zelda shown at the previous E3.

May as well be labelled with the rest of E3's 'concepts' really.

That was a tech demo. Are you still waiting for Square Enix to remake FF7?

So, seriously, do you think this Link is a girl?

I hope this Link is a girl, given those eyes, that mouth, and that chin and jawline. Otherwise, man up his face a little.

That aside, I'm loving the new Link design, finally we've escaped the crap TP/SS Link. I'm also really digging the color, that blue shirt rocks, and I really hope we don't get stuck in the typical bland green tunic and hat for most of the game. Let this Link be the renegade he (or she) appears to be. Multiple outfits/armors in different colors like ALttP are most welcome, however.

Just looked over the trailer and pics again. Man, it looks really good and the open world from what I saw looks great. I can already tell this game is going to be rich with color and atmosphere, great game-play is a given. Good job Nintendo!

Looks like WiiU is the first console of the big 3 I get. Literally got chills when they showed this which hasn't happened in a loooong time.

The Link in SS was more feminine than this, this is roughly the same model as the tech demo but with cartoon effect slapped on top. Try to overlap the faces.

I was not expecting it to look like this, wow. That is such a beautiful artstyle. I absolutely cannot wait to play this. Guess I need a Wii U now.

Shame that it's 2015. I would have loved to have it this year.

Nintendo finally did it, a Zelda game, that caters to both wetdreams of the zelda fanbase: open world and sci-fi. :lol

It looks really awesome, wish they had shown more. I assume it's yet another prequel in the series, about the super hi-tech civilzation hinted at in previous games.

Open world Zelda game in the veins of TLOZ (and Skyrim), with a cross between cell-shaded and Twilight Princess graphics.

Can't wait to see more, but so far it looks fantastic.

My favorite reveal of E3, allright Nintendo, I will buy a WiiU for a third time. Personally this looks like it could be the best Zelda since N64.

I just hope it is not the cakewalk that Link Between Worlds was. Also I am not sold on the item rental/purchase system. There has to be a better way of not gating dungeons, I really hope they are not planning on using this system. I would even prefer if they just paired the gear down to sword, bow, jars, and bombs.
