Damn isn't she cute?
Has anyone noticed the feminine eyelashes on the eyes? I'm thinking more and more now that Link is female this time around!
Shopped? Oh, I'm late haha

The waist is way too feminine to not be a girl.

To all the people who think it's a lady link/Zelda, why would Nintendo not mention it or acknowledge it at all? If they weren't going to say it but instead show it they would make it more obvious. It's not like they kept the character in the cloak to make you guess who the character was, the cloak came off, Link jumped up with his bow and it's Link, just before the tunic (think PJs WW link or farm boy TP Link).
I'd welcome it.Or perhaps that's not even Link.
It's Zelda.
Well, generally Nintendo games end up looking better come release and not worse.I have my doubts whether the open world graphics will look as good come release time.
Love the art style and general concept though.
They just revealed it, and they barely said anything about what's going on. They didn't tell us anything when they revealed that Skyward Sword painting.
shopped.
I wish it weren't

Probably beaten but I don't care[/QUOTE]
Ah, I was enjoying the idea of a female Link, she looked good in that Photoshop.
Really need to get this game out of my mind, my imagination is running wild, just like back in 2004 E3 LOZ reveal. Knowing this isn't going to come out for (at least) over a year & we probably wont see any more footage until the end of this year! Argh! The waiting is going to be unbearable, need to forget...
No way that isn't a girl. The waist is way too feminine.

wow!!! how can anyone deny her female wiles!

Yep. Target render. Waiting for some actual gameplay.

yah those photoshopped eyelashes.
you guys are ridiculous.
Right, because Zelda has a 25 year history of looking exactly like Link.
Not sure if serious though.
OMG. Link looks so awful... I really don't want another Cell Shade like zelda game... *sign*
Cute girl, which Zelda game is this princess from?
Wow just saw this, gamelooks gorgeouslink
I read the op but is this really open world?
Why are people debating the gender more than anything else? It is 100% Link and he is 100% a dude. Link is one of the most androgynous characters in gaming. Someone shop his hat on his head to end this madness.

They've constantly talked about breaking series conventions with this game. Why are so many people afraid of having a female Link?

They've told us the game will be a big change from previous ones, how it'll be open world and how we will tackle obstacles in a different way. Changing the lead character from male to female is just as big a change, you'd think they would make it more clear than an androgynous looking teen boy Link, just like he's been in every other Zelda game.
I literally cannot understand some of these reactions.

I'm a little let down. Not that it looks bad, but I was expecting it to top this:
I've got to say I'm worried that this 'open world, go anywhere, do anything you want at any time' approach will have an effect on dungeons and puzzles, I wonder how they will handle game progression and how you get new items. ALBW was a bit too simple in that regard, I want more complexity from a console Zelda.
