Maybe Game & Watch was not officially confirmed. He didn't have an announcement thing like MR. GAME & WATCH CHIMES IN! like the others and he isn't appearing on the page.

Oh well his appearance in this trailer basically confirms him anyway, and Pac-Man and Palutena's announcements are enough for me.

Looks great! I was worried about what design would be used, but the video quelled all my fears. Can't wait to see more about his moveset.

Does anyone care if he leaves? I don't think I know anyone who enjoys playing as him.

Yeah he wasn't actually confirmed, and he'll probably be an unlockable character again anyway.

It is... amazing. My childhood me might bicker a bit with my older self, but in the end we'd both come to the conclusion that it is a glorious thing indeed.

And that other image, Pac Man background with the sprites and stuff... I'd kill for a poster of that.

I think they only do those trailers for new characters, not returning vets.

One of the first thing I'll do is have a Yoshi vs Pac-Man vs Kirby vs Pikachu match for the title of happiest character in the game. If there's one thing all those characters are good for is bringing a huge smile to your face.

They wouldn't have slightly redesigned Game & Watch if he wasn't in. They cut the outline from him, likely because of the 3DS's outline system. He's in.

The guy Salramano or whatever his name is , who leaked all the stuff. Said something about there being dlc, and people in production wanting lucas to be DLC.

I say rumor instead of leak, because I do not still trust this guys information. Call my cynical or whatever , but yeah.

I for one had been practically praying that Klonoa would be in. He's not the most recognizable Namco character as of late, but I felt he would be a better fighter than Pac Man imo. I haven't watched the trailer yet, so give me a minute to see for myself.

EDIT: Managed to see the trailer and Pac definitely looks and plays well. I'll take it.

Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. Yabuki turned off voice chat in Mario Kart races. True artists of their time.
Best Pac-Man design made it in. I am satisfied.

Even though I'm not really a fan of guest characters, Pac-Man looks really awesome.

And I can't even reiterate how relieved I am that they used the retro 3D design, and not the current abomination.

Kudos Nintendo!

I'm gonna need someone to gif Mario, Sonic, and Megaman running after Pacman and then getting chased away. That carries potential.

Y'know, like, Mario's a plumber, Sonic's a hedgehog, Mega Man's a robot

But what is a Pac-Man? Does Bamco just say he's a yellow ball?

Doesn't matter, of course. He's an icon and I'm thrilled to have him!

I would've been surprised if he didn't show up, although I would have like the Prince of all Cosmos from Katamari Damacy just as much as a Namco representative.
