Trailer is awful, looks like crap and too much forced childish humor, very disappointed.

Generic childish stuff, meh. I'm kind of shocked they're going all in this much on the franchise, though. Waiting until the game was out would have been a smarter move.

So Mighty No. 9 will be a lighter hearted game, I wasn't sure from the initial art work, but seeing the cartoon kinda solidifies that.

I wonder if Inafune will Mighty No X with a darker theme. :)

That FAQ makes it sound like the show is only in the pitch stage. A bit early to be announcing it.

Also, now they're asking for more money directly through Paypal?

Oh snap, after watching that trailer thats surprising Digital Frontier is working on it?

Same people who did the CG Resident Evil Movies (Degeneration and Damnation).

Both CG Appleseed movies as well if anyone has seen that besides me

A 2D anime would have looked so much better, judging by the promo above. I did get a laugh out of the trailer, but not having a writer or director is scary, IMO.

I'm confused why everyone thinks this looks bad. The still picture looks poor, but that's because the shadows are exaggerated and the face is frozen in a weird pose. In the teaser, the colors are bright, the animation is fluid, the facial expressions are good, and the different transformations look way nicer than just a color change. The most dodgy part was the water, and that's understandable when water is so hard to get right.

I saw someone compare it to Jimmy Neutron, but this looks way, way, way better (And this shouldn't be surprising with how much better the tools are now).
