Pretty much. I usually wait until I know she's interested and will say yes but some will just throw it out after a few messages and hope for the best. I usually end up sending several messages back and forth before finally getting a date but I don't mind. It usually feels more natural for me this way.

I would probably get a bit more specific. Like maybe what are you doing work-wise, how exactly do you improve yourself, and talk more about your interests and passions. Basically give women more to work with if they want to message you.

Just go yolo ( I hate that word but it's appropriate in this instance) the more careful you are writing your profile you come off as scripted in a way. Same goes with messages usually I would either A) comment on something she wrote or B) hey I won't give the same bs cheesy witty line so I'll save us the agony lol plus it works.

Delancey Street. It was in a rooftop bar right in front of the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge. We're thinking about going to the Board game event that's on the 15th.
The sticking points that we took away from event were:
1. We overthought about talking to a group of girls. If they made eye contact, they were interested but sometimes they were engaged with a group of dudes.
2. Gotta get in there early to engage them.
3. It's okay to talk to dudes as well to warm up and shoot the breeze with. We could always enlist one as a tertiary wing man.
4. It's also okay to spread out in order to divide and conquer.
5. Drinking alcohol only does so much.
Otherwise, it was solid. Many dudes had a pretty cool attitude about it. Definitely will try going to another event or two for the hell of it to break up the monotony of hitting up several girls a day.

It's to my understanding that the system keeps track of how many messages you've actually answered, and I'd prefer not to make it look like I never answer. Would it be more worthwhile to address the messages I can or just go ahead and open a new account?

you probably only have to answer around 2-3 to get a "this person replies a lot" its a crazy low number to reach that goal. You would have to ignore around 10-15 to actually turn red.
But it all depends on how in love you are with your user name and how many questions you have answered. Good news! So this girl messaged me last Monday, and since then we've exchanged texts every day and things have been going really well (I'm an awkward, anxious wreck and girls usually stop responding to me after a few messages, so this is a big deal for me haha). I would have tried to set up a date by this point under normal circumstances, but this particular girl actually lives three-and-a-half hours away, which I feel complicates things somewhat. If I ask her out, wouldn't that sort of require the person who travels to stay at the other person's house overnight (due to the long travel time)? Is it too early for something like that?
