I've been out of the loop, that sounds pretty awesome.
Robin is just lovely.
I have to say, I really am impressed with Robin's models in this game. Probably my favourite in the game at the moment.

Anyways I played the 3DS version of Smash yesterday at ComiCon's preview night. Some creepy little kid played before me so I probably got all his germs. Ugh.
Anyways. I played Zelda. Her down+Special..couldn't really connect with it. I dunno why. Need to try it more. I actually had a lot of trouble playing the game. Cause I am so used to the gamecube controller that the jump and special were reversed so I just kept falling to my death. Got last place. Was embarrassed. Left sad. If I can map the buttons I will buy it, if not.............

If not, you can adapt to the different controls. It is not that hard, you should try once. Though I am confident the controls will be customizable.
Hahah it's not like it even matters. We all know he's coming back, but way to make it even more noticeable Nintendo.
Also, sorry if this has been discussed these threads move so fast and I'm on my phone, but I'm super confused about this tournament today. Has it started already? And do I just watch it on Nintendo's Twitch channel?

Wario deconfirmed.
Robin's one of those characters who I think actually looks better on the 3DS, or at least in the 3DS shots we've seen. 3DS lighting seems to give his face more depth and expression.

Ridley is like half life 3, even if he's announced, people will be disappointed that it didn't live up to their expectations.
Yeah, I hope you can remap them. And I expect you will be able to, Sakurai is pretty good about that.

It says "capitan" not "captain" in that part of the song from what I can hear, it's a word I've only ever heard my grandad use.

A bunch of characters haven't been revealed yet. I don't know why you would single out Ganondorf, when he's typically one of the final characters to unlock.

Well, there was a screen that had Captain and Ganon. I figure you may be right in that they are not revealing it yet due to reworking the moveset. If a clone (like Luc), then he would have been revealed already.
Also, remember Captain Falcon was an unlockable in all the games. This is the first game he is not an unlockable. They are changing around the unlockable characters.

Well, keep in mind I'm going all the way back to Melee for this -- but it was technically secretly revealed in the first melee trailer that he was in the game (I also happened to be in the room when they showed it). And additionally, he is the final of 3 triforce wielders and the other 2 have been shown to death.

That would be nice, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Hasn't Sakurai said he's wary of changing movesets because he doesn't want to disappoint people who have taken a shine to that character?
Do we know that? The fact that he's been revealed doesn't mean he's not unlockable. With as many characters as have been revealed so far, a few of them have to be unlockable.
He wasn't revealed in Brawl until after it was released. So I wouldn't read too far into his lack of a reveal

I would not trust Sakurai's words. He said he did not want the roster to be that much bigger than Brawl. From what we know, it is going to be more than 40.
Although I have a fear since many Final Smashes are the same. We will see!

I believe Sakurai said Luigi was an unlockable, but revealed him due to the Year of thing. Newcomers that are unlockable can be revealed.
I am going from Brawl reveals. All vets that were revealed were not unlockables (I think). It could be different.
Ah, did not know that. It has been ages since I played Melee from scratch.

Ganondorf wasn't revealed for Brawl until after the game was released (and even then he was one of the last characters to get a profile page) despite Link and Zelda being among the very first characters revealed (Zelda was the first veteran revealed after the original trailer), and there was absolutely no indication prior that he was in the game at all unlike Melee. You're seeing a pattern that just isn't there I'm afraid. There's nothing more unusual about Ganondorf not being revealed than Wario, or Meta Knight, or Ice Climbers, or R.O.B., or anyone else not being revealed.
It is surprising, but we also haven't see Falco, Ness, Ice Climbers, Wario or Jigglypuff yet either. It's been strange to think of some veterans we haven't had announced yet.
