No it was experiencing difficulties. Lost of errors and stuff. Not completely offline. I think it was for 1-2 weeks after christmas. Got a free game for it though, Undertow.

Okay, yeah that was the time. I remember getting Undertow. I think I played that game for like 5 minutes and then deleted it.

Dam luckily I never applied for that!!!

Mind you it does say BETA so no one can really get upset really, bet a few opt out after this though!

It factory reset. External hd is fine. All saved games are in the cloud so most will be fine but annoyed as they have to re download.

It really should be like steam, where it detects that there is connection issue and asks if you want to go offline.

I'd you don't know this then you can't. On Xbox 360 it automatically signs you in offline.

It happened to a few people I'm first wave and I didn't get the update so they caught it fast. Its a beta program don't like the possibility of issues then opt out. It is Voluntary.

Unrelated but ever since after the Destiny beta I've disconnected so much on 360. I was just playing arkham asylum talking with my friends in a party and I disconnected like 3 times within 5 minutes. It's getting kind of ridiculous, I used to never have these problems but now I've been disconnecting like crazy.

I beat the last chapter in Wolfenstein: The New Order on Uber difficulty, was confused when my two hundred points' worth of achievements didn't unlock. Turns out Live had gone down in the hour it took me to finish the chapter. Doh.

Hope they unlock once Live is working again, that chapter was a b***ch to beat on that difficulty.

I agree with some others that you'll need to be signed in offline when the console can't sign you in online. Just like the 360 did. Going into the settings isn't something that your average consumer is going to do and shouldn't need to do.

Live has been bad since the xbox one came out. I actually at this point have had more issues with live then I have had with psn. Shit is ridiculous. This is the fourth time now I have tried to play titanfall and live is fucking up. I made a thread about psn a while ago, but live has become even worse.

I fully downloaded Wolfenstein over a week ago and when I just signed in, it showed the game installing at 77%. Weird. Otherwise everything looks fine.

A factory reset problem isnt NEARLY as bad as when PSN got hacked and a whole bunch of crèdit card info was stolen
