For messages that are too quick you can try filming it with your phone then pausing the video to read it

These guys have a penchant for picking game names that sound awful in English, though. I mean, first there was Dofus (all I can think is "doofus"), and then Wakfu ("wack fu"?... it sounds like some kind of busted martial art or something >_<).

I seemingly managed to get Idle Master working for me. People were saying they were having problems getting their Steam cookie info in Firefox? I managed to do it.

It wasn't that hard, I think, to find the cookies and take the values -- however, after working with Toshin for awhile, I'm not sure if the results would have been more consistent had he been using chrome.

I played a couple of matches against the AI and had fun. Decided to go online and had what sounded like a shrill 12 year old on my team shrieking that I was "trying to make us lose on purpose" as I'm fumbling around trying to get a handle on the character I picked (and getting my ass handed to me), and that he was going to "report me" (to who?). I said "fuck this" and uninstalled the game shortly after. Haven't touched it since.

You have awful taste, but that's okay.

TR2013 in particular was just a bland piece of nothing that felt like 1/3 of the gameplay (aka the survival part) got taken out because focus groups said it was too hard

Hey everyone Chariot ended up getting his Counter Strike: GO taken away, and he was wondering if it had something to do with it being a Russian bought version. He was worried about losing his other games that he bought with keys and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I think if you've been idling a lot the card drops slow down. I was idling most of the summer sale and near the end it would take 5 hours to get 2 card drops. This is purely conjecture but that has been my experience.

Argh, played Spelunky, didn't enjoy the ghost mechanic, wanted to explore the level in my own pace, not a fan of being rushed like that, more or less took the fun out of the game for me personally, don't think there's a way to disable it.

Doesn't that happen when the original buyer uses a stolen credit card to purchase the game?

There are two reasons for this:

- The publisher requested the removal (doubtful in this case as the CS:GO sub is universal and region-free), or
- The sender issued a chargeback (my money's on this)

The bright side is that since he bought the game with keys, he can ask Valve to reverse the trade.

From a story perspective it is a sequel. The distinction being one that the author doesn't consider canon. So its both and neither? Haha.

Within the context of the games, everything that happened in the books happened before the games even started timeline/story-wise. Its not adapting those events and retelling them, its continuing them.

Within the context of the actual books, the games don't exist canonically.

I ran into that problem too, although I had the good fortune to put about 40 hours into it before that point. Pretty sad, I enjoyed the game a lot but a couple of encounters like that just sucked all the fun out of it for me.

I'll probably try it again at some point, but I had to take a break for a while.

You're not the only one here who feels that way. It was a dealbreaker for Dice, too. I don't mind that mechanic myself - I think one of the things that makes the game work is having to make decisions while under the gun, knowing that you can't take your time and grab everything at your leisure - but yeah, I guess it's not for everyone.

Really? I actually thought it added to the game, otherweise you could just collect everything and make it way easier. But to each their own, I can understand that.
