Who said Dorf is ditching the cornrows? Are you saying that on the assumption he'll have his OoT 3D look? Because adult Link and adult Zelda kept their TP looks, so...

Nintendo of Canada has confirmed to us that Rayman won’t be playable in the forthcoming Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. However, the firm says that Rayman will appear as a trophy when the game launches later this year on both platforms.

Ganondorf might look fairly good if his update is more along the lines of Zelda and not Link. I'm not optimistic about Wolf and Falco, though - Fox's teeth flash in my nightmares.

As always I'm going to give every a try, but there's a few characters I think might suit me more than others. I'm most looking forward to trying Marth, Ike, Lucina, Captain Falcon, and Wii Fit Trainer.

Ganondorf intrigues me the most, though so far Captain Falcon has truly impressed me with his design and I don't see anyone else impressing me like him.

Seems like many of the hidden veterans left have fairly simple designs so Ganondorf or Metaknight might just win in my eyes be default.

Oh I forgot about Falco! In Melee that big beak just looked tacky, in Brawl though that beak and those blue and red feathers really caught my eye. If I can see some high def feathers he might be the one who impresses me most.

Bowser and Mr. G&W were my mains in Brawl, although I tried to play everyone. Really excited by the dramatic improvements to Bowser, both visually and mechanically.

Captain Falcon was one of my mains in 64 and Melee, but I fell out of touch with him in Brawl. Maybe SSB4 will be a return to form.

I have a rule to main the protagonist/face of a series that I like. (Melee = Marth, Brawl = Ness, I need to decide someone for 64)

For the new SSB, I plan to main Pit in the 3DS version since that one is the ony I will be playing the most, and I can't decide someone for the Wii U version, so many options!

Definitely ROB if it's back in. Maybe the team will add little buttons and whatnot to really make it look like a toy.

Um, maybe ice climbers.

Mine's a bit specific: Ness's Mr. Saturn t-shirt. I really like that alt - the black shirt with the pink hat and the blue shorts is a great color combination - so I hope it returns.

If I had to pick an overall character rather than a single alt, I think I'd pick Wario. I'm sure Ganondorf will be very impressive, but his TP design just doesn't do it for me; I much prefer OoT Ganondorf. But Wario is bound to look hilarious. Think of all those fat rolls in glorious HD.

Hoping for some state-of-the-art fur shaders for the fluff on the IC's parkas, personally.

I think Snake in his Shadow Moses sneaking suit would look great. Actually kinda weird that they went with MGS2 Snake in Brawl if you think about it. Orrrrr maybe we'll get Big Boss?

I can't wait to see what they do with Wario. His Brawl model was... fine, I s'ppose, but it was kinda weird compared to Wario's typical proportions in the games. I'd love to see what they could do with a hyper-exaggerated, correctly-proportioned, incredibly-expressive Smash 4 Wario.

It has to be between Ganon and Snake....well, maybe Ice Climbers also.

I'm a Falcon main in 64/Melee/PM. I wanted to use him so bad in Brawl but the nerfs were too hard. :( I really hope he's great once again in Smash 4. I need the Knee returned to its Melee glory.

I also love Marth so I'm looking forward to trying out the differences between Marth/Lucina.

I absolutely wrecked everyone with Little Mac in the two games I got in at Best Buy. I'll be putting serious time into him upon release. Especially after the pink jumpsuit was confirmed as an alt costume. Mega Man and Pac-Man interest me a lot as a huge fan of both classic franchises. Also looking forward to Robin as I've wanted a spellcaster from Fire Emblem forever but never thought it possible.

As for veterans I'm looking forward to seeing Mewtwo Ness and Lucas return. And all of the others, really. Roster's gonna be sick.

The Ice Climbers haven't really had a chance to shine with a bright and colorful artstyle, so that'll be interesting to see. Really vivid blue and pink... they should really pop.

Wario is the veteran I'm looking forward to most, though. Because he's the veteran I like playing as most!
