This is Lola (name will change if I adopt!). She is a beagle/australian cattle dog mix from the humane society. I am going to go visit her tomorrow and see how she responds to me. Shes only 2 months old so I expect her to be quite energetic. Now I just need to start thinking about puppy proofing my apartment.

Nothing really exciting at the moment. I'm mostly listening to Charli XCX (Break The Rules), Tinashe (yeah, her concert really made a good impression on me). I also like the new Ella Henderson (Glow) and Hilary Duff (All About You). Oh, and check out Ronika if you don't know her already.
And I must say Ariana really got me good, since I can't get Break Free out of my head, even though I used to hate it. Her new album is nice too.

Thanks sis. This list is a little outdated tho, I need some new jams. Waiting for fall releases.
One of my best friend often hangs out with them, she hosts parties and booked them to play there, so I got to meet them a few times. Really sweet people, especially Julie the singer. They sent their new album to my friend and she told me it's a really great one.
I can't wait. They're signed on Dr. Luke's label so it should give them the exposure they need in the US.
Hope you'll enjoy their show, it's always a good time. I'm gonna see then in December.

Chris is legit one of my favorite characters of all time, but I do hope he takes more of a backseat role in REv2, or sits it out completely. He was the star of the last three RE games, back to back. He deserves a rest. Though I certainly won't object to more fanservice alts for him.
I'm really hoping Claire, Rebecca, Carlos, and other RE protags that haven't gotten much attention lately are the stars of this new game.
Cool. That's definitely a goal of mine. I'm not really into kemono stuff either, though there are a few artists I like. (Null-Ghost for example.) I'm glad Mizuki wasn't rude, that would be a real disappointment. I just discovered him in the last year or so, and I really like his stuff. (I had heard him mentioned before, but I didn't look into his work until I randomly saw some of his stuff on tumblr. I wish I would of followed up earlier.)I understand very little Japanese. It was enough to barely communicate with the artists, since they made an effort to understand, heh.
I went to Summer Comiket. Day two had basically all the "bara" artists. I went to day one too, had some good yaoi artists like Pomatobatake - the artist that made the Thor/Hercules books. Day three was mostly kemono (furry) so I didn't go.
Gai Mizuki wasn't in his booth when I bought his books, only his troupe of supporters. I went to the other hall to get Inaki Matsumoto and then came back to Mizuki's booth, he had arrived but was standing on the back, not in front, selling his stuff like the other artists. When I asked for his autograph, they got him to come, but he was kinda tired-looking. He certainly wasn't rude, far from it, just seemed distant. He also wasn't in the "bara" corner, he was in another space a few rows away, right next to Mentaiko actually. And he did laugh when I said it was hot (it was over 34 degrees, seriously, I was sweating buckets), I guess he was just tired. He didn't treat me badly or complained at all.
Masanori is great, he was my gateway to "bara" too - heck, this term didn't even exist when I found his website looking for Rival Schools yaoi (Daigo and Hayato were the sexiest game characters at the time to me) around 2001, 2002? And Hunks Work Shop is definitely one of the best gay things ever made in Japan, I hope someday I'll be able to play it and fully understand what's going on.
As for Masanori, it happened pretty much the exact same way for me. Rival Schools is one of my favorite series ever (Nagare, Hayato, Roy & Daigo are my favs), and I saw some of his Rival Schools artwork, and I was instantly hooked. Then I learned about Hunks Work Shop and I was pretty much obsessed with it, scouring the net for anything I could find on it. It was like a dream, learning about videogames that appealed directly to me. I hope one day I get to actually give it a shot. Same with Mizuki's stuff. Loops and Honeycomb Bingo Delux shouldn't be that complex to bring over. (Maybe companies like MangaGamer, now that they are getting into BL stuff, could pursue those before moving into the more traditional VNs of his.) Of course any stuff from him, Masanori, etc. would be incredible. (I'm dreaming of a Shoutaroh Kojima bara game.)
I don't remember if I had talked to you directly about this, but are gonna try out the three English bara/yaoi games coming out soon? (Coming Out On Top, Super Health Club & No, Thank You!!!) Those have got me really revved up currently. The latest beta for COOT was actually just released last night for KS backers, and I really enjoyed it. And Dongsaeng, the man doing the artwork for Super Health Club, is another one of my favorite bara artists. (NTY's stuff looks really hot too. The artist for that game apparently also produces some pretty extreme hentai stuff. Thankfully it won't be that kind of game.)

I know it's not the typical bara game, but Coming Out On Top is shaping up really nicely too. The artwork is definitely more American in style, but I think it still straddles the yaoi/bara world, and the writing and character are very funny and engaging. There's a free public demo (NSFW link) available too, and another updated one for everyone is slated to release in the near future.
It's pretty exciting to be a bara/yaoi gamer now. We're actually starting to get some stuff in English, and the first three projects all look really promising. Hopefully the start of more to come, and the potential to finally get some of those Japanese exclusive bara games in the west. (And encourage more locally made content too.)

That's probably more prog house. House and trance have bred a lot the last years, but the rhythm is very housy. Trance pretty much always has a high hat on the upbeat which creates that fast, repetitive beat while house usually just has a big downbeat which makes it so powerful. Tons of house has both though...
