Does that mean PS4 only? Would have to I imagine since Sony straight up said they are done with AAA titles for the Vita. Still think it will be a reboot of the franchise. The story of the first one leaves room for new beginning but perhaps could throw some nods to the Vita game.

I honestly don't know, but I assume Sony wouldn't be releasing what is possibly a 2015 game exclusively for the Vita.

I'm one of the few (or the only one lol) who thinks it would be a mistake financially to make it ps4 only. But that's a whole different topic entirely

But personally I would be extremely disappointed if it doesn't come to vita. The game mechanics just fit perfectly for it compared to a home console..it just won't be the same experience for me

The teaser was shown during Vita's trailer package at last year's TGS, so while it wasn't properly announced for the platform, they implied it.

As for the development, I don't think that's anything out of the ordinary. At TGS 2012, SCE teased OreShika 2. It wasn't properly unveiled until TGS the next year, and was released this past summer in Japan. I expected the new Gravity Rush game to follow that same path, since it had the same TGS tease. I also expect Sony to tease something new that we won't see out for a while during this TGS.

It's nothing amazing. It's a solid game but I think the potential the franchise has gets a lot of people excited.
