Finally got my Real Tone cable, had to get a refund on my Amazon Prime delivery thanks to it not showing up. Got one off ebay instead.

Cannot bloody wait to load it up this evening.

Question: I have the original game for 360, if I buy the ps3 version of 2014 can I use the same cable? I understand you can transfer songs from the first game to the second, I assume that will not work unless both games are on the same platform?

Pretty sure it has to be the same platform. And yes, it's the same cable for all systems.

Yeah, I can see it being Highway Star as it's been in previous games. Hush would be boring, I'd much prefer the Kular Shaker cover if they were going to use Hush. Excited for Stranglehold though, those triplets pull on/pull off runs... oh yeah!

Hush would be fine. They need to do a whole Deep Purple DLC pack. Hush, Lazy, Getting Tighter, Burn, Woman From Tokyo. Perfect DLC pack.

Keep playing on Steam. The PS4 one isn't going to add anything special. It'll just be a straight port.

Advantages for Steam

Customs
Probably already have some DLC on this platform
Weekly giveaways are Steam codes

Advantages for PS4

Playing on a big screen (although this could be the case with an HTPC as well)


Also, you could experience lag issues if the PS4 audio is routed via HDMI. This is a problem on PC as well, but it's much easier to reroute the audio, as far as I'm aware (I don't have a PS4).

Wouldn't playing it on a TV cause unnecessary video latency as well?

This was a big thing for me with Rockband. My TV didn't have a game mode or anything and it was terrible.

They mentioned that on this week's Stream. The 'expansions' was just a placeholder in the menu in case they did decide to do them, they said they were focusing on DLC for now. Weekly stream is really worth watching, and not because you can win stuff, they explain their game fairly well.

I had no idea about emulated bass option!

cool, thanks for the info! I'll try to catch a stream someday. And like you said, not for the chance to win DLC because you'll snag them all ;)

During the Winter Sale last year, RS2012 stuff was 50% off, and RS2014 stuff was 0% off. During the Summer Sale this year, both of them were only 25% off (even when RS2014 was a Daily). I'm hoping that they drop to at least 50% off during Winter Sale this year, as I'll pick up quite a bit.

Lol no shit. She has been putting out a ton of videos with on average 500 views each. Then she puts out a video with her sister going bananas in the background, and that one gets over 1.5 million views. But, whatever. The kid is kicking ass.
