I think what Paul Thurrott says about Windows betas pretty much sums up the answer to this question.
"If you have to ask, don't."
If you're going to do it anyway just understand that you will be subject to wave releases so you won't always get it. If you do end up in the first wave and it manages to do something like wipe all your games from your HDD... well that's why you were in the first wave.
It's a risk but most people seem to be unscathed by it.
While I agree it is not a bug I do agree it's bad design as a recently played list is designed to make it easier to go back to what you were doing earlier and there is no need to have a game repeated, so if it's in the disc drive just don't show it under recently played.
I would also like to see the option to remove applications from recently played and only show games. It would also be nice if you could change it from recently played to things like recently installed, favorite games, most played games, games you're friends are playing and more.
Where are you guys getting the plain solid backgrounds from?
Settings -> My Xbox -> Background
If I could add more votes, I would.
Someone needs to create an achievement list website that also includes the art you will unlock... so we know what achievements we want to chase.
Pan right, next tab or two, there is some transparencyJust need some tile transparency...
So are they planning on fixing the annoying presence of there being two tiles for a game if you have it on disc? I feel like it's a remnant of the old OS, where it expects everything to simply be installed and not require a disc. It's kinda annoying.
Example being Forza 5:
stupid question
I can change the color of my background but how do I add the achievement?
I do not see where I can do that
on my 360 I have the fallout 3 theme
Go into the achievement app and view one you've unlocked, the option is there.
Custom wallpapers with various translucent tiles. Sorry for the spam of them but I wanted to show you guys some designs. I also have a template in PSD done so if anyone wants it to try out some own styles let me know.
Nice work, but I still think monochrome backgrounds are better for dashboards. Any complex image will mostly make the whole thing less readable, and the interface will be hiding most of it anyway. Unless it's specifically designed to "enhance" the tiles (like wrapping around them or something), maybe.
im in love
(not kidding)
I like it. Something I've just noticed though is that the update messed up OneGuide for Antenna TV for some reason.

Too many Ryse-backgrounds to choose from, but I'll go with this one.
Made a background similar to the Xbox 360 dashboard to use when custom images are allowed. Looks nice with various colours. Haven't done the official green yet.
I really don't understand the desire for a screenshot feature. Anything that would happen that I would want to take a screenshot of, pressing a button would be too slow, let alone a combination or voice command. Only time I think it might be useful is a game with replay functionality built in.
Anyone else think the background is too dark?
We need a better variety of gamerpics now.
I'm probably in the minority but i want them to bring back avatars. Not that they're not here but i want them to be shown on the dashboard. + of course new gamerpics.
