I wish there was a .gif of bugs bunny sawing Texas off of the USA. This is terrible.
Don't mind that mexico is already missing

And wtf is this 'paid leave' bullshit? How on earth is that a type of punishment?
"Yeah, go home, put your feet up and relax, doing whatever the fuck you want...AND get paid for it! That'll teach you!".
It displayed no sign of retreat after the officer pulled out his pistol. Even though the other dog did. Hard to really pin all the guilt on the officer. It seems both parties made choices that contributed to this most unfortunate outcome.
The downside of cops wearing cameras is that now we'll see shootings in first person. Christ.
What a fucking bloodthirsty psycho.
Behavior of officer is suspect. Death threats and the like are shitty. Thirdly lock your fucking dog up, and keep it under control.
Paid leave isn't a punishment, it's what's done while an investigation is ongoing.
I watched it. A six month old pit bull isn't as tiny as you make it out to be. This is not an ideal outcome, but there has to be an understanding that loose dogs can be dangerous. There are two dogs that one officer had to confront, and he had a report that the dogs were aggressive.Did you watch the video? They're puppies. Nowhere near big enough to present a genuine threat against a grown man that would require them to be shot to death.
Does the city not have animal control? wtf.

Clearly the dog had rabies. Look at the wag in its tail, it tells a story.
Gonna have to wait for all the facts to be out before coming to a conclusion. Why would a cop just shoot a puppy for no reason? The dog obviously did something to provoke the cop. You don't know what kind of stress the cop was under when the dog was aggressively wagging its tail back and forth, maybe the dog barked before the video started recording and startled the cop and he was in fear for his life?
More facts. Also need a autopsy report, were not sure if the dog had THC in its system and wasn't obeying orders or sit or roll over.
It was a Pit Bull? Those dogs in the wrong hands can be really aggressive. I want the owner of the dog to go through drug tests and a psyche test to make sure he doesn't get to own anymore animals.
Thanks for contributing.Wow.
This is my biggest fear as a dog owner. God dammit. RIP lil dude.
They do, and actually came and got the other non-threatening dog that the officer decided not to execute for whatever reason.
Lets not rush to conclusions. The short video does not tell the whole story, the city stated. That means we don't have all of the information, or what happened before the video was filmed.
Innocent until proven guilty is still the law of the land, and the law of a civilized people. Anti-Cop Gaf is out in full force again, as usual. But it says clearly that the animals trapped people inside of a vehicle. That seems to me to be pretty aggressive behavior, and the officer may have had no other choice due to safety of others. No one knows what that unpredictable animal could have done. Pit bulls often have behavioral problems.
What the hell ;_; ?
I don't understand why he would do this knowing full well it's being taped.
Probably already too much gear in the car tac gear that has no identification on it, grenade launchers, depleted uranium rounds or whatever else is deemed appropriate for day to day interactions with the civilians they serve and protect. Why don't police officers have those animal control poles in their cars? Seems like a no brainer.

The dude should be immediately fired and charged with animal cruelty. This guy seems like a legit psychopath, and that is not someone you want on the police force.
It's good to see people not letting a tragedy go to waste.
This happened in august and apparently would never had gotten much attention if someone didn't leak the clip. He almost got away with it ( who knows, he still might)What the hell ;_; ?

Had me until here.
Well done.
Getting so very tired of the bullshit responses from Police Departments or cities when we can clearly see what the hell happened in that video, and all the other videos that shit response is spouted at.
