Didn't see it. Was disappointed.

What headset issue? I use the golds I haven't noticed anything wrong.

It was mentioned in the thread. Sounds that would normally go through the DS4 speaker now go through the headset at a high volume and you can't turn it down at all, evidently. I haven't played a game yet on my Elites or G930s yet to notice it.

I just wish they'd increase the maximum volume a couple of ticks in the headset volume setting. You have to max it out just for it to be barely loud enough.... or better still, add support for onboard volume controls that some headsets already have.

No shit.

My PS4 doesn't know how to properly go to sleep or wake up without shitting itself multiple times. I've had to unplug the power from it twice because its microscopic power clit didn't want to respond to stimulation.

This is why you don't wait a year and release a mega-patch. The more moving parts the more than can and will go wrong.

Looks like Masamune...

*puts on shades*

...needed sharpening.

Hope that fixes the issues some folks have had :(

The whole rest mode issue is weird. It happened the first time for me, not the second time. But then it happened again. Seems totally random. At least it's easy to restart the system.

Paranoia means I have not used Rest Mode with 2.0 because of what I have read on this forum... Lets hope this fixes the reported issues.

Try with the tongue?

Also don't forget to pull out the disc before it's too late. It works for some people here.

That's the best bit of hardware troubleshooting yet, haha, awesome!

How about issues with friend requests and messages? That's still borked, since Destiny released. We need stability on that end.

Friendlist was fixed with 2.0, it's super fast now, like the rest of the system. I was so happy when I saw that and then I tried to send some messages...

Messages really have to get fixed, it takes minutes most of the time to receive them.
And sending them also takes 30-60 seconds.

That's really the biggest issue with the system (as soon as the Rest Mode bug is fixed).

There was a thread the other day, I'll try and summarize.

Basically, all sounds that previously came from the DS4 speaker now output from the Gold Headset when using them. And there is no volume control for these sounds when using the headset (The 'Controller Speaker Audio Volume' setting is disabled when the headset is paired with the PS4).

So these sounds always play at 100% volume. It's deafening in Advanced Warfare, where all unlock/level up sounds are routed to the controller speaker (and now with 2.0, to the Gold Headset).

Prior to 2.0, using the Gold's, the controller speaker would still play audio routed to it. In 2.0, they play through the Gold's super loud.
This isn't the case for me. The PS4 speaker routed to the Gold's prior to the update and still do, but not at an overly loud volume.

Lol. If you didn't already have a tag, it should be this.

Wakeness awaits.

There are days when the rampant cynicism and misguided entitlement that permeates many neogaf posts makes makes me want to run screaming to just about anywhere else.

Then I see a post like this that makes me audibly burst out laughing and it reminds me why GAF rules so hard. Post of the year for me.

I wish they deployed an internal stability update for their network services, messaging on PSN has become like sending a registered letter.

i hope this time they get it right, they released only 2 major fw and it still had issues. What if they done it month by month?
