maybe, but even so - a brand new New Nintendo 3DS XL is £130, and together with shipping to the UK is £170. There's no arguing that we are getting ripped off here in the UK on hardware

even if it doesn't turn up until tomorrow, that's still only day 4 in the 3-6 working day estimate we were given. And considering it's come here from the other side of the world, it's fine so far.

90 euros? Ouch. Did you order more than just the 3DS?

I just rang to see if I could change the name on my order (for some reason it's 'NA'), and the automated phone tracking said it would be delivered today. We'll see.

Ah, right.
I added it up today I think all in my non-XL one has cost me £190 all in. I think if I had added it all up and had to pay at once rather than paying for the unit, then the extra postage and then the customs, I might not have bothered. Good job I didn't!

Never hand any problems with nintendo devices. I hope this will stay in the future :D
Otherwise I can send the goods back to Play-Asia. Its a longer way, but should work fine, like other companys.

Or direct to Nintendo Australia? Maybe NoE could also handle that.

AFAIK nintendo UK may fix it at a price. I may be wrong - ever since I got my Game Boy in 1994 I've never, ever had any issues with a Nintendo console

Apart from the 3DS screen scratching of course. But that was easily fixable by myself at a cost of £3 for a new lens.

The region information set on this system has been changed please connect to the e-shop and try again if nintendo E shop is available in your region you will not be able to perform a transfer when I go to e-shop it says are you ok with Australia as my region ? Help ?

I have no idea. Others in this thread have set it to ireland and transferred over fine.

Photos would be useful.

Nope. He assumed that at first.

He was actually able to set it to ireland and transfer it fine after going into the eshop.

Edit: lol, see? Its all fine.

DHL tried to deliver my New 3DS today already, but of course I didn't know as I haven't received a tracking number from Mighty Ape yet and wasn't home. They'll deliver it to my workplace tomorrow afternoon instead. :)

Just wondering how long I will potentially have to stay at the parents' cafe for tomorrow. They close at 5, so I can only really stay behind until 6ish.

Loading times have improved dramatically and general menu navigation feels a lot snappier. The screen's brighter and easier to read outside. I'm really happy with it so far. Just about to jump into SMT IV after the ridiculous delay.

Every single order I've ever got from Play Asia to the UK via fedex has taken no more than three days.

Last was a Wii U Pro Controller. Ordered on a Monday, was at my door on that Thursday.

All the orders I've gotten sent over from Hong Kong have been nice an quick. (I live in Reading)

Worst ever delivery has been a DHL parcel that got here, then was shipped to Germany for "Security Checks" for almost 2 weeks. It was a couple of t-shirts.

If Play-Asia do manage to get it here by Friday, then the 28th will be my own personal Christmas.

Shipped here too, but Fedex Economy. No idea how quick that's supposed to be. I am not expecting it to be delivered until next week (I live on one of the UK offshore Islands). Tempted to repurchase Mario 3D Land if the 3D effect is as much-improved as reported. Only have a digital copy on another 3DS from a different region.

Damn trade-in value of my current 3DS XL has gone down in the last couple of days already :(
