You act like the xb1 is dead or something, it just outsold ps4 in the month of november and is looking pretty good for the holiday.

Besides, how could putting the game on xb1 hurt capcom?

For those not happy with the SFV announcement, one of the insiders in the PSX thread just said that's not the Capcom game he heard about.

So new Devil May Cry or Dragon's Dogma could still be happening!

They may be genuine questions but people can only give you speculative answers based on little to no information, considering how fresh and hot this news is. I would say no on the KI season-style, but you know Capcom gonna make a ton of costume DLC for purchase again.

I thought Tomb Raider was awesome personally. I like exclusive games. Why do gamers feel this sense of entitlement or they are owed this or that all of a suddden? Back in the day 3rd party exclusives were the thing. Really if its hurting anyone its the developer or the publisher on the money they are missing out on, not the player.

Both the PS4 and PC have bigger markets right now and people want exclusives for those. Sony surely paid a lot of money to get this exclusive and probably helped during development. Xbox One is also probably getting the Ultra Edition treatment later so calm down and be patient.

It feels really good when you see that they announced it for PC as well and not as an afterthought to a console exclusive! I really couldn't care less for the game, but I just added 10 points to Capcom in my personal scale of caring!

Well, how much do you think a deal like this cost? Keep in mind it's also releasing on PC. Not saying you're wrong but if Sony can't pay for a Street Fighter game to stay console exclusive then they must be really poor.

I think, if the game is timed, it has more to do with their incompetency than anything. They couldn't even secure FFXV after years of having Versus as an "exclusive"
Sony is just really bad at these things.

In the US, while still losing to the PS4 since launch worldwide and doing insane deals making MS lose a lot of money.
The console is not dead, it's just doing doing that great. I wouldn't rule them out though.

Outsold? Worldwide (which is what matters most) I'm sure it didn't. Or us/uk? Even then, I haven't seen any official numbers yet..

That is a big announcement. Looks impressive, although I was hoping for more impressive graphical leap.

Also, hypocrisy rampant today. "Console exclusives are the worst, I hate your company... unless you're the one I like. Then best ever!"

Adding to this, this is also the reason you often see PC players "port beg" via petitions and social media campaigns - there is no corporate overlord looking to secure games for them. If a game is PC exclusive it's entirely due to business realities on the developer's end (i.e. time/budget reasons) or the merits of the platform itself. Which is how it should be.
