Not too long ago, Miyamoto turned 62. Today, Iwata turns 55.

Iwata was considered to be a genius programmer back in the day. He programmed games on his calculator in his youth and eventually joined Nintendo. If you are interested in more of his backstory, I recommend watching his 2005 GDC speech.
