Trust no one. Eat steaks.
What site do you guys use to host your images? I have an imgur account but I hear that's frowned upon at Gaf.

Also, and this will sound really dumb, but after I've set all the camera, effects and shit I still use the share button to take a pic right? There is no indication on the screen for what I am supposed to press for a photo.

This one looks insane! It wasn't shot in photomode was it?

Tons of aliasing...so probably not?

Shot looks good until you go full res..rough..

I may be stupid but is the method for taking a shot:

1) Compose in Photo Mode
2) Upload Screenshot via Share button

or is there a way to actually save the shot in DC itself?

I don't know, but it sure needs it.

These images are all killed by compresssion/a blurry look.

I keep clicking what looks downright amazing as a tiny image and then looks like a blurry/lo-quality mess as a large image.

Oh my dayum! It features an amount of details I expected from PD.
Good job Evo, if only you didn't mess up the release!

did the AA on the cars improve since the update? i cant see shimmering on the backwindows anymore!?
It is still there.

The worst shimmering is a result of areas of thin contrasting colours - the rain and snow means you're racing in very dull, dreary conditions which means a lack of contrasting colours, everything is muted.

That's why it looks better as the AA system can handle it well, though it does introduce shimmering to things like the canopy overhangs when they're wet and light is shining on them.

The photo mode just pauses the game, and you use the share button to take pictures, you can move the camera and if you wait for a second you can see a progress par for processing the image. In this picture I just hit the button without waiting for it to process because I wanted to show it as it is in-game, but I don't think it was this bad in the game.

edit: the difference between processed and not:

edit2: same one but processed

When Replay mode hits it's going to increase the quality of photo mode outputs by a ridiculous amount.

Instead of hoping to catch the right moment with the photo mode button, we'll be able to go through our replays looking for the exact moment.

I can't wait to see what happens to this thread post Replay mode.

This is insanely impressive everyone! Now that most of the features are out and most of the bigs fixed, I bet the PS+ version of DriveClub will give it a serious boost and a second life as soon as it's released!

the differences between processed and non processed images are really minimal.

You can see a better car's edges from long POV, but nothing more. Sometimes it even worsens the image quality.

So is it not possible to simply get a good/clean shot in the weather mode?

More like this

I'd like to see some stuff that clean and in focus, but with the water effects.

I think people's focus or something is off in a lot of shots (where they seem to be attempting to feature the car as the main subject). That first shot is from DC, so I know it's possible.

How?
Rainy weather mean less lights.
