As a follow-up, how does it compare to Chaos;Gate?
OH SHIT
I was planning on watching the anime soon but now I think I might hold off for this...
Actually I'm curious.
I haven't watched the anime yet myself. Will I need to in order to understand this VN or no? 0_0

Seems pretty weird that the DRM free PC version has been out for a good while but it's still not on Steam.
Interesting, I'll definitely play this.
Any knowledge of the first game required?
No you'll spoil yourself on everything aside from the alt routes going through the anime. It's also less detailed so you're getting a watered down version of the story there.
The VN came first
I havent watched the anime or played much of the VN, but I do know they tell the same basic story. But I assume the anime is the "true end" of the VN.
VN is the source material. Watching anime not required.
No, it's not a sequel.
Pleeeeeeeeeease retail for Europe too. My card can't handle any more digital. We getting retail, right RIGHT?!
Didn't care for the anime, but I'll still give the Vita version a go.
Obligatory grumble about no PS4
Finally . I hope it's retail too. And they manage to put the PC version on Steam as well.
Clannad, Higurashi and Fate/Stay Night next, pls. Grisaia too, while they're getting the Kickstarter ready as well.
