Best Grand Theft Auto Soundtrack?

I liked some of the themes in GTA 3 but yeah, Vice City takes it.

Also had the best radio host, Maurice Chavez.

I really like V's because of the amount and variety. They all feel so good to drive and fuck around to. But Vice City will always hold a special place in my heart, that soundtrack just captured that era so well.

Vice City but its a bit unfair because its the only case where the music adds to the game's atmosphere that much. I mean its a GTA based on the 80's and the 80's music is bound to be a very important aspect of the game, not to mention much more memorable.

Not my problem. It's the best hands down, just let it go.

GTA V(only because of more variety) >= Vice City > GTA IV > SA > 3. The only problem I had with V's radio was that it was lacking stations like IV's The Vibe and The Journey, which were the best imo.

Vice City without question.

Even Vice City stories has a better soundtrack than most of the other GTA games.

They NEED to go back to the 80s. No more modern day, please Rockstar.

Vice City had V-Rock. It seems like the rest of the series forgot that good rock and metal still exists.

*Edit* Radio X was ok. San Andreas comes in second.

Definitely Vice City. I've never had more fun in GTA then driving around listening to the radio in Vice City. GTAV was a huge dissapointment in the music regards.

Has to be Vice City hands down. Own the box set. Radio Espantoso station is my favorite, can barely understand the words but the songs are so catchy and that DJ!

Vice City and Flash FM all the way (also the best GTA), closely followed by San Andreas, GTA IV's music was horrendous but it just says allot about contemporary music as a whole (also the worst GTA).

Ugh, so hard to choose between Vice City and San Andreas. Actually, since I can't decide, I'm going to put it out there that Vice City Stories had an absolutely fantastic soundtrack if you enjoyed Vice City's. The entirety of Emotion 98.3 in that game is incredible.

GTA IV didn't have the best soundtrack, but the songs it did have I now associate with that game. Unlike GTA V for example where all those songs to me are "radio" songs and not "GTA" songs.
Vice City Stories had a suitable soundtrack too.
Best would probably be San Andreas or actually Liberty City Stories.

Yes! Like I said, the emotion station alone in VCS was monster like, it had something, I can't put my hands on it.

Yes don't argue with me. I've made almost all of my posts about Vice City so I know. Those soundtrack can be your favourite but just know that Vice City is the undisputed best. Hands down. Just nod and agree. I love you.

Besides Crockett's Theme and 2 Minutes to Midnight, VC's soundtrack was crap.

Vice City. And it makes me feel great that so many others think so too! But I will say, for some reason, I will always remember "The Ballad of Chapped Lips Calhoun" by Sideways Hank O'Malley and the Alabama Bottle Boys from the original GTA
