Well 13k glimmer and I've got 3x32's. Just in time for classes to start, finally at the point of just running raids and weeklies. This has really got me thinking how they plan to stretch house of wolves through to September, I guess we'll probably be taking a summer vacation from destiny hah.

Then he fell down to his death, and now I'm convinced this has become Bungie's first priority to fix it...

it looks like they're trying to push him into the direction he fell off from the beginning of the vid. seems to me they knew what they were doing?

this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen
The thing is we have the strat it's not hard, but for some reason minor insignificant details like killing the swordbearer while he's on the stairs stopped us from killing Crota basically.
Its also something people spend time and money on. People are allowed to voice their complaints. Some here have stopped playing.
Me I'm still going. I have a few complaints, but its something my dad and I can do every weekend. Hes in Canada, I'm in Australia, its nice to actually do something together aside from just the usual talking.

Exclusion Zone for an hour will sort you out.
Of course people are allowed to voice their complaints.
My point is that if your not having fun, and your not anymore in the race to be first or second or 100,000th to beat Crota HM, and you keep saying that your planning to quit and explaining all the long and detailed reasons over and over again, then why are you still playing at all? It's a video game meant to waste your time, help you relax and have fun.
You could always try a GK checkpoint, I thing it produces quicker results then Exclusionj Zone.
Ok, yeah, I agree. I'm not rushing to do shit, and wouldnt be. The raid is clearly overtuned in response to players cheesing and beating NM easily.
Eventually Bungie will care more about players actually having fun then gating progression so harshly.
It doesnt effect me too badly right now. My girlfriend just started playing, we got her to 26, but damn if we cant get her any weapons above 242 attack. Just gotta keep on that rep grind/marks grind!
Its a good game, it just seems like they worry about how long we will play instead of how much fun we will have when playing.

Was doing hardmode crota with my hunter alt today and in the middle of the fight one guy suddenly goes afk without telling us. We we annoyed that he didn't say anything but after he started snoring we thought it was quite amusing.

You could have told us that when we were going for the first post patch flawless runs, ffs.
I'd say this is more a byproduct of Bungie's design decisions that some weird behavior from people.
The game *is* supposed to be frustrating, its whole design is based around the "loot appeal" to make players keep playing it. You do the nightfall with two buddies, they get good loot but you don't, you're slightly annoyed *but* have seen that it could happen to you, so you keep on playing. Then you're either lucky and get frequent drops that keep you happy, or you're not and your frustration grows and grows until at some point you just don't find it fun anymore.
I'm not blaming the game for working this way, mind you, but in return it is totally normal and understandable that people react differently to this frustration. Some will shrug it off and just stop playing silently, and some others will need to vent about it, to get it out of their system. I don't resent them for doing so. I would not react the same, or with that much vigor, but I can understand them.
Also, I think we all found ourselves, at one point or another in our life, wanting to stop doing something but coming back to it regularly. ^^ We sometimes love to hate something...

As much as I love playing with gaffers, right now, I dont think CE Hard is a lot of fun.
If I could get the guns from Crota, I'd not do it again till I'm 33/34 as well.
As for that glitch, pretty sure it was unintentional so there's nothing to "fix" there.
Still hilarious tho.

Has anyone compiled a list of bugs for the Crota fight? My fireteam's last fight must've run into every bug for that fight.
1) Crota quick rise and strike instead of the normal recovery animation after being downed.
2) Crota falling off the bridge while chasing the swordbearer, then teleporting while shifting.
3) Thrall spawning out of thin air in the summoning room instead of spawning from the doors.
4) Sword falling though the floor after killing the swordbearer.
5) Ogres spawning later than usual after two sword cycles.
6) Swordbearer hiding in the starting room for the Ir Yut fight.
7) Thrall and sword knights can melee you through the window in the summoning room.
I can't think of any more from that frustrating failure of a run.

Yeah, it was clearly unintentional, but I'm sure Bungie will at least want to check whether or not this could be willingly triggered by players, or this is just some random bug due to severe lag / a bad string of events.

CE has never been fun to me. I still rather play VoG. I could foresee that the only way to make this Raid more difficult is by making it cheap. Normal at 32 was piss easy, can easily be 3 manned. Also because Crota's fight is set up so that 1 DPS is enough. The rest can basically sit down. Hell, I can drop the sword at the rock and just down him myself with 2 rockets if needed. Doesn't take skill.
So they needed to make it a step up from Normal. And since they can't change the base they had to add more bullet sponges and other cheap tactics such as insta oversoul.

One titan has to put a shield between crota and the boomers to protect the sword.

Do you have to? We were using the middle strategy. Except the person running sword was jumping from down below. Not from the left or right which I thought was a little odd. But he was making it alright and getting the hits in so I didn't question it. I was the only Titan on the team and I couldn't make that jump safely and they preferred my bubble in the doorways /shrug
How do you deal with Ogres? Is the ideal strategy to take Crota out before they come?

The Titan bubble strategy is to provide Orbs for the Sword holder to use his super.
