2 nights in a row and still stuck at Crota, We can do it, but stupid things keep getting in the way.

1. Crota recovering way too fast
2. Out of no where lunges after the swordbearer.
3. Ogres taking forever to spawn.
4. Gatekeeper spawning out of nowhere in the saferoom up top.
5.Disappearing sword
6. We actually need a better swordbearer.

Once I beat this thing and get the scout rifle, hand cannon and crux I'm never going back into crota on hard again.

Spent over 9 hours trying to beat Crota with two different teams and man it's frustrating. The bugs and glitches don't help.

The process of figuring out the Crota encounter and finally downing him is awesome. Second time downing him took 3 hours, but everyone hung in there until it was done. It would have been really easy for someone to get frustrated and leave, but no one did. Kudos to my last raid team. Got WoC out of it.

Yesterday we were going for a win on first try, but Crota walked of the platform and went up the stairs to finish the job lol.

Did you get it? The victory is worth the frustration; feels like no other.

I got Fang and I wish it had full-auto.

I went to give another shout out to Abyss Defiant! Do not disregard this gun, guys! I hate auto rifles and this thing is beast for the hive. You can turn wizards into clueless babies.

I wasnt there! Stuck at work. But their strategy is solid. Don't even need to worry with placing bubbles and the tower as long as you have 1 or 2 players on constant boomer duty. Dont even look at the Swordrunner. Just boomers. But don't kill them. Just make sure they are looking at you and not the sword.

Nope didn't get it. Such wasted time bro it's beyond maddening. Wasted heavy ammo and time that didn't bear any fruit.

We had one guy on boomer duty, and the other guy with the bubble helped with letting the sword bearer get some super hits in, but I agree it's not necessary.

I came on last night asking if everyone had calmed their tits a little... everyone told me it was all good... is that not the case?

I said it last night and I'll say it again: I just want to get high and play video games with awesome people. You guys are great and I want to continue to be part of the community. I have a relatively stressful job and have this community and this game as a bit of an escape both during the workday and in the evenings.

So, for my own sanity and all of yours, can we all just calm the fuck down about a video game? I get the frustration... but damn, let's not take it out on each other. We are a team. Team DGAF I believe it is.

Honestly, to me, the game itself is secondary to the social part (ie: you guys). If it weren't for you guys, I'd certainly have moved on from the game. That's not an affront towards the game, it's more of a comment about my un-diagnosed (read: artificial) ADD.

So that's my little soapbox moment... take it for what you will. Moving on, anyone got a Gorgon HM CP I can steal this evening? Anyone want to roll through some NFs tonight? I had company in town all week and haven't had time to play. Let me know.

Are there any easier ways of getting ascendant materials? It's pretty slow going, even with doing a public quest every day, and doing my weekly raid. Gonna take forever to finish grinding. Am I missing an easy way of getting them?

done it for second time. got word of crota. i got all raid weapons now minus nechrochasm. so i don't think i'm even gonna bother with hard raid anymore. crota fight is a chore.

This week is a perfect example for why the Nightfalls and Weekly strikes need matchmaking.
Instead of doing those on Tuesday I did the raid three times and now all my regular teammates have completed the weekly strikes and .... Yeah.

So if anyone on XB1 still needs to do Nightfalls and weeklies send me a message and lets get em done!

Crota has been downed again!! Took us about 4 wipes then we had it. Went back to our OG team we used for Crota on normal.

Glowhoo
Energy

About to start our second run. We did middle start then did went to the ogre room to take them out.

Just spent another 4 fucking hours trying to kill Crota in hard mode, and I think I've had enough. There's so little room for error that it basically comes down to luck.

And the best thing is that it isn't going to get any easier until the next expansion is out, which is exactly why Bungie decided to make all the enemies lvl 33.

EDIT: aaaaand I posted in the wrong thread...sorry!
