Looks like another patch today? Hopefully this one actually fixes the crashes. It doesn't fix the problem where sometimes your core ability doesn't trigger until you mash it for 5-10 seconds straight. That's been driving me insane lately.
edit: and the server still commits suicide after games occasionally
edit 2: saw on reddit they were tracking map crashes or something, but no reddit account so I'll just say here, yup, can still crash while loading up Angel City. Was a lobby that was only loading up 3 players. I haven't had the mid-game crash yet this patch, but I assume it's inevitable.

Went to go on today to get to DV before reset. I kinda forgot how much the Season History thing bothered me and I turned the game off. �� Like, if I couldn't recreate what happened before today's play would feel like there's no point as well.
This is a better game than Destiny or whatever, but the permanent record is a constant reminder to never care about Ranked anymore.
I think since the beginning there has always been stuff like botched achievements and the constant death when trying to Rodeo etc. that just eventually all boiled up to this game feeling like efforts don't really matter.
That and public games are never 6v6 anymore and is impossible to lose when you are in a team.
I'll play if there is any DLC or Titanfall 2 I guess.

Thinking of buying the dlc season pass on Xbox one. Is it worth it? Do the maps come up much? I know it's cheap as hell, but I was just wondering.

Yes and Yes.
I jumped in last night, been a Day 1 TitanFall player as well as a Day 1 DLC player, and there are plenty of players in the Attrition game mode.
I played around 5 matches, 3 of which were DLC.
It seems that most people who have the game now (and still play it), have the DLC, so should have no trouble finding games.

There used to be a way of picking a level (not that you were guaranteed to get it), but there was never any good way of picking IMC or Militia. If you party up with a bunch of people and launch a game, chances are you'll be Militia, if you need to play as IMC your best bet is to go solo. Usually if a lobby stays healthy it will just go through all the levels in order, so if you're close to the levels you haven't played it's probably best to stick it out for an extra game or two than try to search for a new lobby.

23-0, 168 attrition points, and at the end of the epilogue, "Retrying Connection to Server". Damn, if I didn't have my 3 stars on Outpost already I'd be apoplectic.

I've been getting back into titanfall since MCC is still broken and I'm surprised to see how fun this game still is. Im beginning to remember why Titanfall was one of my favorite games when it first came out.

Clip - So, I've been getting reset to 48 hours till next decay whenever I do some ranked play. Not sure why it never goes up to the 7 days I was getting in December, but anyway. now that we're close to the season ending I'm not even getting the 2 days. Notice in the clip it says the season will end before decay as if it has added to my time, and then it just goes back down. Not sure if that bears any relation to Izuna's issues

Man, Frontier Defense on Rise is just brutal. Only two rounds, and if someone fucks up or you don't coordinate well, you'll be getting fucked from the start of round two.
I tried boarding an enemy titan at the start of round 2 and got killed when he stepped on me. Harvester was down three minutes later. Still not sure what my teammates were doing there. :lol

Not sure if I should play all day to get this to season to DV since I haven't played all month. It seems that it really did tell me the season will end before decay when it was in fact lying. It seems that me also being on a mobile connection must have made the decay thing take too long to change or something. It seems to say it won't decay until season end without a check, a check that took too long for me to see while checking...

Fuck it, on the small chance that Respawn will look at that clip and correct my season history I will get to DV today. May take me a couple of hours though of Attrition lmao
Then this seems to be separate off course. I made it all the way back to Diamond. I think the fact that it was saying season will end before decay before showing him the actual time means what I had was a latency issue... �� where it said so and if I waited moments longer it would have told me the truth or something, I dunno.
Anyway this game is fun but working my way from Platinum I that it put me down to back up to Diamond V took so long today and it just reminded me of how bullshit I felt when the bug happened. I think I am going to really not bother with Ranked if it will decay once every 48 hours anyway haha.
I have no idea why they thought that was a good idea.

Once it got under 24 hours to season's end, it still wouldn't reset past it. So if they think they fixed the playlist bug from before, maybe they didn't. I'll try again in a little bit. I'd really prefer it if there was just some way to waive the decay for the month. If I play 100 ranked games in the season anyway why should it matter?
I don't think having to play every single day or face decay is the correct way just because I may be away for the last week of May.

Can't believe I waited this long to sub the thread. Definitely one of current games this gen period and am still playing.
Also, kudos to Respawn on coding a matching system that just works. Played with 2 coworkers for first time last night for a 2+ hour session, hoping between Frontier Defense and Attrition. Shit.was.flawless. and we were dominating (^___^)

hello everyone!!! im glad to be able to post here finally! im building a PC and im expecting have it my the end of this month, one of the exciting reasons im getting it is that ill be able to play Titanfall, i do have a copy ready for me on Origin and i played it at a friends PC. it did worry me a bit the amount of players on PC, if i can remember correctly i saw 400 players on atrition and about 40 on Frontier Defense (i still wasnt hindered by it and was able to get full games). it does get better at peak hours right?
also, how often does Origin have sales?, trying to score the season pass.

Will be jumping back into this soon (XB1 version). I bought the Deluxe Edition and this will actually be my first foray into any of the DLC.
Anything I should keep in mind as far as new modes/maps go?
I assume the XB1 community for this is still rather active.

XB1 community in the US at least is fine. Most game modes are populated enough during peak hours, and if you solo queue you are fine in most playlists off-hours as well.
Can't really speak for PC, been focusing exclusively on XB1 lately for ranked play, finishing up all the challenges, and getting 3 stars on everything. I might hop back on PC in a limited fashion, maybe try to get in on some organized CTF per FrothyOmen.

Loving the sale on the game, it's really boosted up the player count in every mode. I only play LTS, and there are usually around 100 peeps online in the AM, closer to 250 or so in peak times. Now I routinely see almost 200 in the mornings and over 300 at night.
Rank system still complete garbage, at least in LTS. Had a game last night where we won 4-3 and I had 10 titan kills, like 7 pilot kills and 2 deaths, and i fucking lost a battlemark. They need to tone the penalty for losing a round down big time. It would probably help with the bullshit mark losses you get even when you're outnumbered by 1-2 people. Basically if a game starts and it's 6 of them versus 3, 4, or 5 of you, they've gotta be real shitty to lose a round (maybe not so much at 6v5). So you could go 15 titan kills, 0 deaths, and 10 pilot kills, and still lose a mark because of rounds lost. I know, I have racked up almost 20 kills on a map and fucking lost a mark.

i've said it before [mostly in-game], and i'll say it again;
they really, really, really need to consider removing that gun from the game entirely.
yup, hence why i turned the ranking system off [ages ago], and will never turn it back on.
the frustration of MVPing every game, and still losing BMs [not just in LTS, but that's my main mode], just made the game no fun to play anymore.
Currently saving up for the German myself. I'm using the Vanessa OS right now.
I hit 35k credits (or whatever they're called) yesterday, still deciding what voice to get, but definitely leaning towards Japanese. Only suckish part is that I won't understand what they're saying and the info is actually pretty helpful.

i use the japanese one pretty much all the time - trust me, you won't miss the voice prompts, they're hardful useful.
that is, presuming you've hit gen10 and play the game as religiously as someone like me.
I got the Japanese voice (makes it feel like a Gundam or Jehuty lol) and the info isn't really needed if you're used to the game. Yes, it's nice but not mandatory.
Russian is next for me. I have enough credits, but just saving for now.

So I decided to get the Season Pass to get some new lease on the game, but when I try and access the DLC Playlists it says I have to buy them, even I have, and installed the Season Pass. Help?
