As if there was ever any doubt that a new AC was coming.

I think at this point I wouldnt be surprised if they released two every year.

Looks like The Division is probably getting moved back to Spring 2016. No chance it made 2015, what they're trying to do seems way too ambitious. More time to brace myself for disappointment, I suppose.

Sweet we'll finally get Beyond Good & Evil 2

Alright, more high quality Ubisoft games. 5 of them!

No they didn't confirmed 5 AAA titles for this year. I have listened conference call and they said that only titles that are confirmed are AC, Division and Rainbow Six. More about new lineup in May.

Ubisoft will announce a new IP, a Sci Fi far-flung future epic! With parkour! And laser blades! And laser guns!

And it will be essentially Assassin's Creed in space.

Now I want (as long as it works)...

From that quote it seems that The Division will be out before 31st March 2016 (so reckon it will be there March 2016 game).

Many boxes to unlock
Many boxes that can't be unlocked without app
Many towers to climb
Many bars to fill

For what its worth, the Com Dev told me 2015 release for The Division and its also posted on their official website as coming in 2015. Take it with a grain of salt though.

I have high hopes for The Division and Rainbow 6. Hopefully the new AC game can redeem itself after the travesty of Unity. Is it too early for a new Far Cry?

I played Rainbow Six last year at E3 and I watched The Division's press briefing 4x. Three times in the theatre booth and once at the VIP Twitch stream. I have extremely high hopes for both.

Hoping they let me place the barb wire in the bathtubs now. :p

Lest start a betting pool to see which ones are going to be completely broken, which ones functional and which ones will work with out issues
HAHAHA yeah right
!

Rainbow 6
Assassin's Creed
Just Dance
A new Rayman (?)
Brothers in Arms (?)
The Division

I gave up on seeing a Brothers in Arms very soon. It was never big money maker, And Ubisoft is Ubisoft now. Maybe its good for the game that Gearbox and Ubisoft get their act together first. Would be very sad if they messed up that franchise also.

Splinter Cell? I thought Blacklist sold poorly?

It had sold 2 million units a few months after launch, no idea what lifetime sales are now. In any case, a new Splinter Cell's been in development for a little while now.

It disappointed, but they implied they were going to make another one anyway.

I can't imagine they're going to give it a zillion years in development if it's not selling amazingly in general.

Indeed, what's series averaged game wise for each installment? Any idea?

Doing some googling searching it looks like around 2-3 million an entry.

I mean that was successful back when it came out, but if we just waltz over to the Ubisoft sales thread we can see why that seems bad now.

They were aiming for 5 million with Blacklist, which is where the highest end publishers generally want retail titles to be (mid-tier are usually still is okay with 2-3 generally): http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=96022855

To note that's not exactly a cost issue, but more like a "Why don't we just put this studio on Far Cry instead?" issue.

Ahh, thanks. They seem to have been satisfied with prior entry sales so their projection must have always been around 2-3 million each. I wonder why they felt Blacklist would shift 5 million units.
