Trailer: Here

Introducing Marvel Mighty Heroes, a real-time co-op brawler with an all-star cast of mighty heroes and super villains from the Marvel universe! Featuring real-time co-op, action-packed gameplay with up to four players, and strategic super hero action, Marvel Mighty Heroes will be coming soon to mobile devices everywhere.

:DeNA has done a ton of other mobile work, most of which that I'm familiar with has been pretty solid- like the Transformers mobile games, and it's interesting to hear about an attempt to branch out into new types of games in the mobile market, considering how over-saturated it is with Clash of Clans clones and progress bar filling simulators- not sure how well four player co-op brawling would work on touch screens, but I'll be interested to find out.

The game is currently set for release later this year as a Free-To-Play game, and will be available on Android and IOS devices. Hopefully we see something on the gameplay soon- but in the mean time, more information can be found on their official website here, like confirmation of Rocket Raccoon.

I see the Daredevil push begins now

(Hope this is good, I really want a Marvel game to play and most of what's out there lately doesn't seem great. Besides Marvel Heroes 2015, of course, but I can't run that...)

They've got Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel in there too - gotta maximize that MCU synergy. Ant-Man's probably in there too but already shrunk.

And Black Bolt too!

I like that Gamora is there, considering she is by far the least well represented member of the movie Guardians.

Are we ever going to see a real video game from Marvel again? It's been all mobile bullshit for ages, with the exception of the Lego games.

Spider-Man, Cap, Stark, and Chris Pratt in the very front row

Makes sense I suppose

She Hulk being right there is really surprising though!

Is it a crime for Marvel to use costumes not from the movies or something now?

Aside from Iron Man and Cap, they're also the costumes currently used in the comics. And Thor, but he's not even Thor anymore currently, so that's almost cheating.

It's a shame, but we're probably just going to accept that stuff like the awesome old Guardians uniforms have been buried right next to their characterizations and will never be seen again.

Their recent console games like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Deadpool aren't even as good as the mobile games, sadly.

I don't even think about that one because it's a paper-thin game hidden behind hundreds of dollars of toys. That's even worse than this mobile stuff.

I know and the bastards suckered me in too. To be fair, I got a good deal and I like the figures but yeah, I'd love some new proper Marvel games. I'm really surprised actually - it was proven with the Arkham games that you can focus more on the comic foundation and have a successful game not tied to a particular movie release. Lawd, Amazing Spider-Man 2 was not great.

Basically everyone in the picture (bar She-Hulk) are in the MCU.

Everyone from Black Widow to Hulk, and Daredevil to Spidey, and Captain Marvel to Black Bolt.

Hopefully not as shitty as Contest of Champions. Tho i still playing it :(

I couldn't get into that one. I'm shamefully still playing Spider-Man Unlimited and I even spent a small amount of actual money on it. I'm part of the problem everyone - I'm sorry.

I play that one too........

Contest of Champions is gorgeous, but it's more of a business model than a real game. I would kill for a real console fighting game with that art design.

That would be up to Disney. And Disney doesn't particularly like developing console games anymore (outside of Infinity) so probably not.

I hope it turns out good.

Im really sad that Marvel seems content to just let Wolverine be shuttered in stuff like this.

He use to be so important to them and now more and more often he seems to be getting the back seat treatment.

If they can't make money off that movie merch, they don't wanna deal with it.

I just want them to do what they did with Star Wars and EA. DICE working on Battlefront and Amy Hennig on Star Wars are like dream projects. Marvel deserves that too.

I would kill for another co-op RPG on current gen consoles. Like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Boy, I would pay a pretty price for Raven Studios to get another shot at a Marvel game.

I know this happens everytime a Marvel movie comes out, but I really don't like the movie Star-Lord in comic form. It worked for the movie, but it just doesn't click for me in the new comics or the recent mobile fighting game. The early Bendis run white costume was nothing to write hope about either, but I guess you got to appeal to that wider audience who never picked up a comic book but will recognize the costume from the movie.

I'm just going to go to my happy place. Where we have Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, an open world Spiderman that doesn't suck, and that cool Borderlands looking Avengers tie-in from THQ.

Oh, and Lego Marvel.

Bendis himself has never read a Guardians comic book, so I guess they were just made for each other.

I miss based Giffen and DnA Star-Lord. As far as I'm concerned, the real Guardians never came back from their deaths in the Cancerverse; the current movie-inspired versions are a bunch of weird skrulls that think it's acceptable to use catchphrases like "Blam! Murdered you!" and that Star-Lord was a thief.

I was just wondering that myself. I guess he needs some other form of attack because his voice is too OP

He uses the tuning fork on his head to channel his energy, giving him his superhuman strength, endurance, flight, ect. It's usually depicted as the effect of lightning striking the fork.

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
The age of nothing but shit Marvel games is deeply disappointing. One area where DC are soundly trouncing them.
