You can still get the FFXII steelbook complete for under $20. No idea why it was never worth anything.

That edition of the game was way overstocked. I was working at GameStop when that came out and, at one point, the regular edition cost more and we were actively pushing the limited edition on people.

Huh, what a weird screw up on SE's end. Now that I think about it, it might not be too uncommon because I'm pretty sure the same thing happened to the Halo Wars steelbook.

I regret so much not having a ps2 back in it's time, I bought a GC instead >_<

Then I played XII on emulators, but I lost the save >_<

I have both the normal and the merallic CE case *-*

I bought FFX HD to support a remaster of XII. I'll buy this too in a heartbeat. I can't even imagine how good I'll feel if they announce XII, especially for PS4. I just can't lol.

Why would that be likely? Not trying to downplay you at all but what does Sony gain in making FFX HD, a game which already released on PS3, a timed exclusive for the PS4?
If there was a XB1 version that would've been known already.

I was under the impression the similarities between the XB1 and PS4 would have made it easier for porting purposes.

I'm also expecting FF12 HD and KH HD collection for the XB1 due to that reasoning.

You make a valid point though, as Sony has nothing to gain from making any of these timed-exclusives.

I think FF12 gets too much flak. I actually find most of the characters quite enjoyable and while it wasn't the sphere grid it certainly had one of the better upgrade systems in FF games.

IF FFXII HD is a thing and is announced this year I WILL BUY 2 PEOPLE IN THIS THREAD a copy of the game. LE versions if available, if not just Standard versions.

Do what you must gaf, i expect someone to PM me if it happens.

I think Square Enix knows its audience for these HD cash grabs, they probably don't think the Xbox One is a worthwhile investment (yet) except for the bigger games like FFXV and KH3 and even then we'll have to see what the platform splits will look like which is going to be very interesting™

Still, it begs the question on why FF Type-0 is multiplat and this isn't, also I can't imagine Sony paying for that FFVII PC -> PS4 port, they can't be that stupid right? Square Enix is a strange unpredictable company though so I guess you shouldn't always expect a logic answer for their decisions.

So why exactly couldn't we have the classic soundtrack option in the PS3 version??? I loved the new soundtrack but why keep that option PS4 only?

Also will there be another trophy set because I don't see the reason to buy it for a third time if the PS3/PS4/ and Vita versions share the same trophy sets...
