NA version only has a soundtrack, but if you read the fine print towards the bottom they said they might consider bringing more edtions out if the demand is high enough.

I bought both CEs for display, ill buy a normal copy to actually play. Quad dipping ftw.
this is a great idea since they can make physical editions and if demand is larger, they can make more. i wish Sega and Capcom were smart enough to do this for games like Yakuza and AA.
Oh yeah, missed that tidbit. But I'm sure the standard edition will be available in stores, like the first one.

I just hope that if I order it now, when the game actually ships I get a X / 50 number and not an X / XXXX number. Cause thatd be pretty bullshit for early adopters.

There's nothing they'll do about it, I asked on twitter. Really really stupid decision. Safe shipping in EU can be had for like £5. No need for whatever courier service they're using.
Technically I still could. But I don't really want to have to be stuck playing on my old 3DS. It's now all about the new.
Also I don't even know if I want this. First game had mixed reviews and described as repetitive.

It's still at this price on many websites, they overproduced it.
I had a lot of fun with the first game, kinda enjoyed it more than SV, but the performance was terrrrrrrrrrible.

They know that they can do that, though, and I'm part of the problem as I surely won't miss out on this release. I'll just wait a while and see if there's any resellers that offer cheaper shipping or something.

Edit: Don't feel bad LiK, did the same thing, regretting it a bit as well, but the 4CD soundtrack was only for the first editions.
I think it's the best game of the series, and I had the same problems with the first one (which was pretty low budget). This one has no framerate issues (apart from the main room if you use the 3D mode) and has so many gameplay improvements and better balancing than the other games that I can actually consider it a good BTA.
It released during a bad time period, with a lot less marketing than SV, didn't have the anime happening at the same time, it was announced at the same time than EV, etc.

I bought the first game here in Germany in our local MediaMarkt store.
The digital release was waaaay later, iirc.
It dropped from overproduction, and it sold less than expected. It's unfortunate, since I pre-ordered it as well, but I can always look at it as supporting the series I suppose.
In the U.S., Burst was eShop only.
