Video game fashion, clothing.

I have a very Bradford-esque sweater that I do wear on occasion.

Edit: apparently Bradford and Sam go to the same clothing store.

Recently had an urge to start buying more game related clothing, merchandise in general too. Besides a few Borderlands and Mortal Kombat shirts that people have gifted me(don't even like the games that much) I don't have anything. It's always been a no-no for me but there's actually some cool stuff out there, when I start getting some more money I'll go at it.

I have this shirt:

It looks great, and even though mine is faded that somehow makes it look better.

I also have this:

A lot more blatantly video game related but I saw it in Nintendo world and it was too pretty to resist.

I wear both in public.

come on guys, I want to see more shame tarps. Bust out the pics. I know at least 85% of the people have size XXL "alone in the dark" preord er shirts you wear daily

This topic depresses me. Like think about it: some adult actually has bought Assassin's Creed or Final Fantasy clothes.

No way XD! I did look though! To this day I haven't found the real suit, but I remember looking through ROEN's catalogue and everything was insanely expensive. I can only imagine what the real suit would have been.

I bought a similar suit at JCPenny lol. Nothing flashy, but it was a very similar cut.

I would definitely think of buying some of the FFXV suits if the Roen/Lucis skull motif isn't all over the place (like with Prompto).

I have the backpack/sling!

i could see liking it if it hugged the body kinda close and didn't bob around too much

I guess I liked how he was dressed in that game, although I'm not a fan of his 5.11 pants

don't people get tv shows doing that, though?

edit: oh I see, you were doing a thing...sorry

I use to wear graphic tees in highschool but midway through I got rid of them. I bought clip on headphones that the Persona 3 MC wears, Audio Technica discontinued the exact model he wears sadly.

I'm serious about the sling. It has a compression strap that makes it snug. You can run around with out it bouncing all over the place. You can even load it up with molle pouches.
It it a little too big for me so I ultimately switched a a smaller camera bag to carry random things with me.

The megaman hat just looks funny.

I've got a shirt with this on it:

I'm not even that huge of a Last of Us fan, but I wanted a white shirt and I really liked the art.

Besides that, I'll be wearing my Delsin Rowe cosplay hoodie a lot this winter. It's a really nice hoodie.

Why do people say video game clothing is cringy? :( You guys are mean. I'd love to wear something like this
a little low on cash right now, though
:

And I was happy as hell to see a kid in a Metal Gear Rising t-shirt once. I also remember going out with my bf when he wore Mario shirt. Little kid pointed at him saying "Hey, mom, it's Mario". It was kinda cute.

I want that Kyogre shirt O:. Also is there a Groudon shirt too?

this thread seems to be about two things: clothing/style presented in videogames, and clothing/style referencing videogame.

for the first, I'd have to say no, since videogames (outside of fantasy/period stuff) don't really seem to be pushing anything that I haven't seen already on a runway or from a designer in some form, and the reproduction clothing leaves a lot to be desired from a cut and quality standpoint.

re: videogame referencing clothing; no, since I don't really care for logos/graphic printwork anyway. that insert coin stuff above is just a green flannel and a quarter zip with a tone-on-tone embroidery. you could get that kind of thing anywhere.

So subtle that I don't get them

:(

I don't get it either. First one kinda reminds me of Stan from Monkey Island...

edit: oh, Joel....ohhhh

Wearing video game shirts (The Cake is a Lie, N7 Hoodies) is the cringest thing.

THe messed up thing is I actually like the N7 hoodie, even if i wasnt a fan of Mass Effect, id rock the shit out it.
So i find it kinda unfair that people hate on them simply because they are gaming related.

If you saw one that wasnt gaming related or you had never played Mass Effecte.g the bands along the arm, but some other logo, or no logo on the front, would you still cringe?

This is overkill:

I wear the shirt that Isaac has on in the beginning of Dead Space 3.

I don't really go out in just a t-shirt unless it's to take out the trash or get the mail, though.

I'd say a little bit. I wear flannel shirts and henley tees (Joel and Drake). Though Naughty Dog seems to take inspiration from the real world as far as fashion goes.

Edit- I got a tan henley shirt because I liked Drakes in Uncharted 3

So is this thread about wearing videogame merchandise (which is a huge hit or miss and depends on design and character, like band shirts or other merch stuff imo) or is it about wearing stuff a videogame character wears?

I thought it's the latter, but there's not much of it in this thread, sadly. I wanna see more of that!
