The funny thing about "Americanized" tacos are that they are usually more expensive than the authentic tacos.I've kind of accepted the fact that every post involving tacos is going to have drive by flaming of "Americanized" stuff, but what's wrong with Lime and Cilantro?
Hopefully it means people ares starting to forget to post it in every food thread.
I'm pretty sure Robert Palmer made a song about this.
Doesn't mean that meme isn't played out. But, unlike most of the other food threads, this one is actually about tacos :þ

Yeah, but you'd to visit San Antonio.
*shudders*
Ever since moving to LA, I've become addicted to tacos. I could easily eat them 3-4 times a week I'm betting. Mostly local places, but I'll admit to having a bit of a weakness for Del Taco.
They tried it and failed massively.I'm sick of eating authentic tacos, I want a Taco Bell in Mexico!

It's a nice place to visit for an afternoon. Living there is another story.
So? I live in WV, been to Taco Haven 6 times. For some reason, karma/fate has seen fit to send me to San Antonio a number of times. I make the best of it. Point being, if the OP wants proper tacos, there will have to be a road trip (or bus, or plane) to a place where they're made. Doesn't have to be San Antonio, it just happens there's a place there I can wholeheartedly recommend.
LOL, taco bell and chiptole.
Try some authentic tacos
I like to put hot sauce on mine and make it even spicier.
OP, doing a quick search for "best tacos in Cleveland, OH" it looks like you need to visit La Plaza Supermarket.
You better get on it.
Taco Bell and Chipotle? Eat some real tacos.
O_O OMG I live like 5 minutes away from this place. I am totally going there sometime this week. Thank you!
Went to a taco shop in Mexico. Where you literally could choose from 20 different types of tacos. Best tacos I ever had. And on Tuesday was 2 for 1. I miss mexicos tacos.
Of course, update this thread after you have tried some. My suggestions would to at least try al pastor, carne asada, a chicken and maybe a chorizo tacos.
Where do you live?
I live in Georgia
Doesn't help my search.
Close to savannah, Georgia.
get that lime out of there...
I love tacos so much; I could eat them every day and not even be mad
get that lime out of there...
Those look store bought taco-kit tacos, not authentic tacos...
