goddammit medusa why're you so quotable.

Saddest thing about Inhumans is seeing how much of a boss Medusa is, and then observing the sales numbers. If god damned Harley can pull 60k+ and Silk borderline 70k, why can't meds pull more than 25k? ;__;

Nobody cares about the inhumans. Especially when they start a book not around the royal family. The only interesting characters

The Suicide Squad press shot is awful. I realize the source material doesn't lend itself to much, but wow. It looks worse than the cheap stuff that CW produces.

Miiiiight rent it. I can't imagine good reviews or box office draw here, but I'm prepared to be surprised by all the "lifelong" fans.

The book takes, like, ten pages to become "The Adventures of Medusa".

To be fair to Arrow they did have the benefit of Tara Strong doing the voice for Harley. Made it feel much more like Harley, even from behind.

I get the feeling the Joker will have very little to do with the squad apart from Harley and Deadshot. I don't know why but I get that feeling.
I made my predictions on his involvement in an earlier thread, half-jokingly.

Any thoughts as to the tally marks on Harley's leg? Is she keeping score, or is she keeping score?

Hey Comics GAF, it's me again, last month I said thank you for all recommendations, and now I need some help again. I came to the conclusion I like black and white comics more than colored ones. But I ran out of ideas what to read next. Maybe I just write what I read and what I think about it.

Bone - great adventure, absolutely love it. Imported stupid stupid rat tails from the US also, only for the black and white.

Pogo- great but difficult to understand sometimes (English is not my first language) same problem I had with six gun gorilla, if they don't write the word in full and I can't figure out what it is...stupid me

Calvin and Hobbes - love it and I have to laugh a lot ^_^ just bought the complete two weeks ago, don't want to rush it, just read few pages in bed every night.

King city - great to look at with lot of funny details, bit childish sometimes (poop jokes etc)

Sharaz De - great art

If somebody would have any suggestions, I would be very thankful.

Oh and because usually, the question- with or without superheros, is asked. Without would be better, but honestly, never read a comic with one. Ok, maybe Tony from Chew is considered a superhero than yes ^_~

Sorry for disrupting your conversation, now I feel stupid for not posting in the Q/A of OT. Will post it there...
I don't know how you feel about kind of dark and violent stories, but Stray Bullets is another black and white comic.

Don't feel afraid to post here!

Oh those are totally kills.

Strangers in Paradise and Rachel Rising by Terry Moore.

I want to thank you kind folks for telling me too get on the Preacher train a few threads back. I'm 11 issues in and it's really dang good. I'm loving Jessie and Tulip.

Also, Rhak, I'm going to follow your lead on Marvel events. I've read a few over the years but the only two in recent memory were Annihilation (liked it) and Shadowland (Diggle, you stupid piece of crap!). The rest of cosmic Marvel is the obvious choice, but I'd like to know if there are other standouts.

The Inhuman book is actually mostly about the royal family now, the Dante stuff only lasted for like 3 or 4 issues.

Liking this Thor / Loki Original Sin book with Angela's origin (I assume).

The whole Angela thing is still baffling to me. Can companies just buy characters like that? Could Marvel, say just buy Spawn or something?

Still my favorite comic run ever, and that's coming from a big Marvel fanboy as you know

Angela was won Neil gaimen in a law suit . He then sold her to marvel

Yeah, I like the unpredictability of it all. God randomly showing up in a mirror and reviving folks...it's disarming.

You probably missed my edit, but Marvel Events Cheat Sheet, pleases!

Yeah, why couldn't they? A decent chunk of DC's characters are actually from other companies even

That's so crazy.

Anyway, here's something completely unexpected. I'm really digging the latest Fantastic Four run. It's all gone to shit from the first issue and it's hilarious (in a depressing way lol) to watch. Also their costumes are fucking rad.

Edit: I really need to read the cosmic marvel chart don't I?
