MS has never shied away from having a loaded holiday season, don't know why some of you would believe otherwise just because of the Quantum Break delay PR.

Also, it's now more than ever that MS is willing to load their guns, since holiday season is where they can actually win.

Nah.
No need to drag things out. A hyped title available immediately seems more like bombshell material. If anything, a title not well known would need a build up.
It would generate immediate buzz and excitement in greater quantities with the suddenness.

I am curious at the price, especially if it's just one game. Halo MCC has kind of changed the game, but it also released broken as hell so who knows. I imagine that even if it's just the first game it will release for $60. It'll probably also come with a beta invite of some kind. If it's $40 I'll be thrilled.

Nah, those are just minor stuff. We still have Scalebound, Halo 5. Gears 4, Rise of Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Rare's game. plus whatever new games we don't know yet.
That's pretty amazing list already.

I wanted to take some screencaps from Gears 1 on my PC in multiplayer for comparison, but unfortunately I can't make a private match happen without at least one more person in my game. :\

Best I can do is campaign screengrabs.

The textures on the walls are quite bad, though everything else seems fine.

edit: The pic on the bottom must be from pc with all settings except resolution on low because I'm pretty sure gears of war looked better than that on the 360.

GeOW remastered

Leaks last year:
Horizons 2, MCC, H5 Beta, Platinum game "Project Nagano", white X1, Fable Legends, Crackdown (thanks Defect), and Sunset Overdrive setting (thanks Ape).

Unless I forgot something, ship so far is far less leaky heading into E3 2015.
Edit: I think that is all. Oh my god that was an absurd leak in hindsight.

Damn.. It's actually a remaster? I was really hoping for a remake.

I'll hope that it'll include 2 and 3 as well.. Otherwise I don't see myself picking this one up.

Im so pumped. Big time Gears head. If Im being honest, even if they came out and said they didnt improve anything and are just porting it over I would still buy it to have Gears on my xbox One.

I'm absolutely ecstatic that they're just focusing on the first. Everyone has there own opinions on which Gears was the best but Gears 1 to me was multiplayer perfection at the time.

Eventually I'm sure we'll get remasters of the other two but Gears of War 1 multiplayer was the pinnacle of the series due to the simplicity compared to the sequels and the maps. Gears of War 2 felt like they were adding different modes and weapons just for the sake of adding them not to mention the lag during the first few months after launch was borderline unplayable IMO. I'm happy MS is just focusing there efforts on one title.

Time to revisit Gridlock, Canals and Mansion. :)
