Really? I just don't think MKX made up for the gap in Titanfall and Infamous: Second Sun's March tails.

I also think that MKX probably had a heavy digital push. They had a lot of takeovers in the PS4 and XB1 stores. Also remember that last April had the FIFA World Cup on PS3/Xbox360 and FFXIV on PS4.

Second Son was barely in the top 10 last April. MKX very likely wiped the floor with Titanfall's sales last year. Allegedly. Guess we'll see.

Afaik around the tail end of April/ early May. But it was also mostly because the default SKU was changing from the base PS4 to a PS4 + TLOU (which I do not think went oos), which apparently induced some confusion both in the UI (prompting Amazon to eventually put a "There is a Newer SKU!" banner) and the buyers (the solo PS4 SKU selling more for a while with 3drd party seller than the PS4 + free TLOU available at Amazon).

I'm sure the deals helped the Xbox1 if that's the case. I would also imagine the numbers are pretty close. April is usually a dead month.

If I'm not mistaken Xbox had some trade in deals that if you traded in your last gen system you get $175 towards an Xbox1. PS4 literally had the same deal the previous month.

I'm sure that went a long way in helping. Add to that console sales usually drop in April ir probably just pushed them over the edge.
