Your favorite "Knight" character

I love the Knight archetype. Shining armor, swords, horses, honorable, noble, beautiful, chivalrous. It's all great.

Mine has to be Titania from Fire Emblem 9/10.

One of the best designed and most likable characters in any game I have seen. Level headed, no nonsense yet kind, extremely strong from the beginning and useful throughout, an axe user instead of a sword user, gold armor, flowing red hair that manages to look both majestic and modest... man. What a great character.

Dammit, how can I contribute when you nailed it in the first post?

Sigurd

Hero who rides off to save his friends. Fights against injustice. Loses his life in the end. God, what's with all the Fire Emblem posts from me today?

Finn

Finn starts out as a young knight who idolizes his King. After his King dies, he fights desperately to save the Prince and raise him like his own son. They go into exile running from place to place...

...Until the Prince was old enough to fight back and reclaim his homeland. Eventually Finn joins with Sigurd's son and liberates the entire continent.

Seeing as Frog was said, I propose Dark Knight Cecil.

Imagining Cecil, looking like that, rolling into Mysidia and putting all that fear into those peaceful mages during the opening- good stuff. One of my 'never going to happen' dreams is getting yet another FFIV remake, but in the Amano (or even Nomura-doing-Amano) style. :}

I love Nomura, though I hear the Nomura hate here all the time. I think he looks super rad and I'd love a remake in this style! Long live the KH armor designs.

Haven't played FE9/10 yet but man, Titania looks awesome.

So happy to see so many mentions of Chris Lightfellow (Suikoden 3), but I have to give a shout-out to the other Knights of Zexen, too. (No idea why Cecile is in this picture but yeah, she can stay.)

I also love the Queen's Knights from Suikoden 5:

Charlotte-sen.jpg

Charlotte from Samurai Shodown. She was my favorite video game character for a long time and the only reason I liked playing those games.

Have a soft spot for Meta Knight, Sir Daniel and Ghosts n Goblins' Arthur.

Cartoon knights, basically.

I'd probably pick him, though.

From http://www.starwars.com/databank/darth-vader

"Once a heroic Jedi Knight, Darth Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force, became a Sith Lord, and led the Empire's eradication of the Jedi Order. He remained in service of the Emperor -- the evil Darth Sidious -- for decades, enforcing his Master's will and seeking to crush the fledgling Rebel Alliance."

How about them apples?

Tasty and juicy, but that still doesn't show that Vader is a knight; in fact the stuff you posted state that he isn't a Jedi Knight :p
Helps to look up a thesaurus or dictionary on what 'Once' means.

Clearly the most noble foe of Symphony of the Night's vast collection.

More serious answer, add me to the Fire Emblem 9/10 pile, the Black Knight has always been my man, taking that cliché concept and owning it.

Honourable mentions to Siegmeyer of Catarina, Shovel Knight (and the rest of the Knight lineup now I think about it) and Sir Dan.

Solaire from Dark Souls. Tragic figure. Disowned by his family. Doesn't seem to possess the natural power his family does, still get's damn near everything he wants with grit and determination.

Imbarkus

As Sartre noted in his contemplation on Hell in No Exit, the true horror is other members.
Not a lot of people remember...

Rom. SpaceKnight.

Torn between Ornstein, Solaire and Artorias...

But if I had to choose, I'd have to go for the Knight of the Abyss himself. Sif gives him the edge. Just look at them. :'(

Seriously, it's the first word lol

Ser Royland's enthusiasm for murdering the Boltons and the Whitehills really agrees with me.

Potential spoilers?
I hope he doesn't end up being the traitor lol

I would say Jaime, but he hasn't shown up in any of the games yet I don't think.

First one to pop in my head was Cecil from FF4. But dammit, after being reminded that Shovel Knight exists, probably gotta go with him.
