Oh. Well doesn't that drastically change the story? I wasn't aware that the part inherently called for a larger age difference between the couple. I don't think Gyllenhaal would make a convincing 20 something year old either (though maybe it could work with some extra exercise ad a bit of make-up maybe?). That said, the fact that women get shit on for their age/looks more than men is a societal fact and pretty unfortunate

Ok Cupid has analytics that show that, while women and the standards of what they are attracted to develop with age, men of all ages consider women in their 20s to be the most attractive. Pretty much universally. Marketing figured this out a long time ago.
