Hattori wtf, this sword sucks

edit: oh shit apparently the sword he gives you scales?

wonder if its worth "clearing" the quest later then

Love when quests build it up like *This sword has been handed down through my family for TEN GENERATIONS* And its a piece of shit.

That's pretty much a staple of RPGs where the ''super crafted sword'' is a piece of shit. (Exception like Excalibur in FFIV and even then it's not the strongest).

The best swords in Wild Hunt are probably the Mastercrafted Tier Swords of the Witcher Sets and some other high level diagram you find. Like in the first game, the best swords are obtained by doing a lot of things. (In the second one the best silver sword was in a out of the way cavern but not really hidden).

Alright, this game really hates hoarders like me. I am constantly at the brink of being overburdened, and struggle with whats worth selling vs dismantling. Is there a major saddlebags upgrade somewhere in Velen? I am in desperate need of more inventory room...

I thought there were supposed to be no repeated npc's in the game but I see repeats all the time...

everyone 5 people have the same sad face as the dude who you make a deal with to kill the Griffin early on the game

which is extra weird since he seemed like some royalty unique character at first

If I leave Velen to go to Triss' house in Novigrad, will some of the side quests in Velen disappear like they could when you leave White Orchard? I want to do that part of the main quest but don't want to miss anything else.

I like the fact that one of the hardest fight I ever done so far in that game are

The two fist fights against two opponents at the same time
(in the Hattori mission and in the Cabaret Mission).

In death's march difficulty it takes Geralt like 20 shot to down them, cannot use any ability or roll and dodge while it takes them 4-5 shots to down the super badass Witcher and they are always parrying so the only way to touch them is to either parry and strike or strike as they strike.

It's the only things that is just completely stupid difficulty wise. Unless you guys have tricks I don't know about?

Read a book named "She who knows", should help you decide.

I don't know what exact quest you guys are talking about but I have a feeling I know which landmark in the world you are discussing. I read that book and have seen it on the horizon. I hope I don't have to travel there at night.

There are so many subtle hints in books/letters to future quest lines and character motivations strewn everywhere. I love that the game makes me feel like a detective with the ah-ha moments.

You just got to cheese some of the fights by only parrying.

I have a level 33
spider I think to kill in Velen. I don't know if that is the highest tho.

Yeah, I do not think so either.
there is a level 35 mission I have to do
but because I am only lvl 18 I have no chance. Which is sad because I really want to do these missions ASAP

Need quest advice for "Brothers in Arms: Nilfgaard"

Letting Emhyr know what our plan is for Ciri seems like a terrible idea in the long run, but having short-term access to his aid would be immensely helpful.

So, yes or no: Is asking for his aid going to bite me in the ass later?

I saw a level 37 Griffin while riding through the hills in Velen. Fucker kept following me for a fight. Nah bruh... Not at my level 10.

When people say loot scales with your level does that mean when you first get it or throughout the game it will scale with you accordingly?

HELP PLEASE

No, cause Geralt will always refuse Emhyr condition. I know, I've checked the Collector's Guide because I thought I did something wrong but no, so far there is no way ton convince the Emperor to help you anyway.

The amount of content in Novagrad alone is nuts. Ive spent about 9 hours today on that city alone and I went into intending to ignore the secondary quests. But the characters that show up, you want to follow their storylines to the conclusion. Jesus. Is Skeligre Isle like this too?

I cannot get enough of Skellige. Anyone else agree that it's the most gorgeous location in the game. The rugged scenery, the music...it just oozes atmosphere and the sublime. Incredible.

This is the best game i've ever played. The best secondary quests by a large margin, excellent graphics, vast amazing open world, grade A character dialogue and a solid main storyline. This beats TLOU and OOT for my favorite game of all time.

Vendor in King of Beggars compound. Zerrikanian Saddlebags. +100 space

Thanks!

Weird that Geralt would turn down such substantial aid just because Voorhis would be in charge of them. Oh well, got everyone else anyway.

I'll have to force myself to go back to Velen to finish some side missions, it's so bland compared to Skellige.

Nah, I don't think there's much in Novigrad that affects anything in Velen.

I just got to Velen so I don't have access to those yet. Is the Temerian DLC saddlebag my best bet until then?

Try participating in the horse races in Velen and Novigrad. You get saddlebags and racing saddles as rewards from them.

I actually looked for an underwater entrance but couldn't find.

There's a low, broken wall to the right of the draw bridge with some rocks creating a small footing just beneath it. I ran and jumped to the rocks then climbed over the small wall.

To my knowledge it isn't
story related.
. Some nice gear there though.

To the spoiler: There is one. It's just not really noticeable. It's to the left (right?)

Thanks, Ill look around for horse races. Low coinage is another one of my problems, so I'd rather not cash out if I don't have to. I need to just start selling off all the junk/other items...
