THEY DID IT!

They made an open world game that looks almost believable. Love the look of the town especially and totally got Skyrim vides following the dog.

Just please make it run the same on both consoles and ill be the happiest camper. Hope ill have a PC that can run it by then.

Absolutely loved the trailer, it did what a trailer should do and that is whet my appetite. Sure the graphics are a bit "ropey" here and there (that dog looks bloody awful) but fallout has never been about graphics for me.

I am so looking forward to roaming around a post nuclear landscape again. I am probably in a minority here but I want it to be more like Fallout 3 and less like Fallout NV.

Graphically this looks like rage, there's no way this is not 60fps. That dog has no fur in 2015, what's up with that.

You bring up a good point about the dog having no fur, didn't realize that until now. No excuses for that anymore..unless bathesda is going for an unique look, which doesn't bode well for this game graphically.

as a pc player, what performance issues?

witcher 3 looks miles ahead of this trailer. but it's a trailer, so i won't judge it too harshly. i'll wait for real gameplay.

Frame rate issues mainly, super long loading times, occasional crashing. This is mainly on PS4 though, I've heard loading times and stuff are a lot better on PC.

It just irritates me that people complain about downgrades, then we get posts like this

Jesus, the graphics look poor.

I mean, I'm not complaining, we'll see how the actual game turns out, but given that graphics are all we have to go on from a trailer, they look a lot worse than I thought they would have, and I wasn't even expecting great graphics.

Like, devs can't win. If they set realistic expectations, it's not good enough and the graphics are bad. If they put out a bullshot trailer, they get flak when the game doesn't live up to it. Then you have the downright crazy people saying this looks like a PS3 game.

. There's no way that footage can be compared to this.

I'm not saying these graphics are mind blowing or comparable to something like The Order, but I don't see how anyone can say they're bad unless they had super unreasonable expectations.

I dont think I would enjoy this very much. Post Apocaliptic depiction caused by horrible warmongering decisions, greed and technology gone wrong is ripe for snark, sarcasm and witty storytelling. People about to die from nuclear holocaust.... not so fun.

Amusing the shitstorm that CD Projekt gets if some in game leaves aren't quite as shiny in the end product as in trailers but Bethesda can keep shitting out incompetent Xbox 1 quality graphics (and awful animations to go along with it) and everyone keeps lapping it up

So it's fair to compare something like the order to this? And they sure as shit don't have that Rockstar money. People are to quick to judge a game based on a trailer for a game that probably won't release for over a year and no direct gameplay was shown.

For a teaser, it could very well come this year and they are just holding it for E3. Also, we might get some gameplay from Bethesda on the 14th.

I'm eager to hear about the gameplay updates/changes in Fallout 4. That and perks. I imagine the overall experience will be much improved over FO3 and NV.

I'm thinking (hoping) yes. They used to have it like that back in Morrowind, they just had to change it due to console limitations (PS360). Since they're not doing cross-gen perhaps they were able to go back to that.

Yeah, that's true, Morrowind did not have walled off cities, so return to your proud roots, Bethesda! The next thing is to remove transitions from outdoor/indoor as well, but I don't see any proof of that in the trailer.

TBH, if Bethesda released the trailer today, it's only going to serve as a hype-builder for what's shown in their conference.

I could see a Fall 2015 release being the 'one more thing' that concludes their conference after a gameplay demo or whatnot.
