Make use of the spoiler free threads! I can never watch all conferences live too and by using them and following the gaf thread with it, i always get pretty much the same experience. Just avoud the spoilers.
Speak for yourself.No pre-E3 leaks or teases means no pre-E3 hype/excitement for me. I can never watch the conferences live, because I work, so I rely on pre-conference leaks and teases to even have an E3 experience at all.
So far, my E3 is ruined.

Prediction: Fallout 4 gameplay is shown, plays exactly like Fallout 3, ignoring all the improvements from NV because Bethesda.
A slot machine is a type of game, so if they made a Suikoden slot machine would that still count?
Even for me, that would be going too far. A slot machine isn't a game. It's the devil.
I'm not sure. Is it? Fishy is such a negatively connotated word in this modern world although a fish is such an awesome animal.

I don't think I was clear. I actually don't mind leaks at all. I even enjoy them. I just don't want screen shots and video of major new games before they're supposed to be shown.

There are nearly always a glut of leaks on the morning of the conferences. It's why I avoid GAF/facebook/twitter etc. on conference days. I've had a lot of things which were leaked still be a surprise to me.
I'm just saying, I found your word usage peculiar, and it seems as if you were trying to discreetly ask me something you think I might know something about. If not, then fine.

Suikoden still? Isn't konami as we knew them basically gone? They wouldn't still be working on a game like that would they?
I'm personally not eager for leaks, I like going in nearly blind, but I am quite surprised by the lack of trademark filings this year.
This time last year, we had seen trademarks for Phantom Dust, Bloodborne, Kill Strain, Entwined, Guns Up, and probably more that I'm forgetting, pop up. It was a lot of fun to speculate on what they could be. I remember everyone thinking Kill Strain was a new Syphon Filter.

Well of course I assume you know something and I'm hyped for E3 and a possible reveal of something from Rockstar or a new LA Noire/Mafia. So yes - I was more or less directly asking you if I will be happy with these kind of preferences.
Yeah after last year I think studios have gotten wise to the trademark thing and arent filing them so early or keeping them quiet through other means.

Anyway, if Sony were to resurrect a PS1 JRPG out of the blue, it'd be Wild Arms.
Yeah, they got smart, I think the trademarks for the games revealed at gamescom pretty much got filed right after the show or something, or at least were kept under wraps until after. Only entwined was before, understandably so since the game was a "right now on PSN" type reveal.

Suikoden doesn't need to be a huge AAA spectacle. You could midtier it and just make sure that the combat and story are great. It is a good business move if budgeted and marketed appropriately
Not eager for leaks at all. Just the fact that fallout 4 and the UC collection was announced has me pretty hype.
I can't wait to see gameplay for Battlefront, Doom, and a bunch of other games. Eager to see more on Deus Ex. Excited for the MGSV preview embargo to be lifted next week and I'm sure we'll get a new trailer at E3.
Just based on what we know I'm hype. Save the surprises for the actual conferences.

I've never spoiled anything. Seriously. I genuinely don't remember ever doing that, because it makes no sense to me to ruin events. Stuff I say is just random crap that gets unveiled one day. We're due a few of those this year though. We've got to close the chapter on some of the 2013 stuff after all. Delayathon can't hold me back forever.
I'm pretty frank when it comes to these events. Look at PSX. I had my bet, but I told people so many times to stop focusing so much on the presentation, and to think of it as a convention for fans first and foremost, but no one listened. Everyone went crazy. (It was pretty great though, I loved seeing that train going off the cliff.) I'm more the kind of person who will lie to you to lower your expectations, than someone who will tell you the truth to raise them, even if if they're worth raising. Psychology. You can't trust me, man.

I'm the kind of gamer that likes fulfilling single player experiences. Games with compelling characters, especially women, and games with valuable and nourishing narratives or scenarios (ranging from the simplicity of Journey and Ico to the complexity of Red Dead and BioShock).

You know, I have an idea. Since there's been a couple changes, this will be fine. I don't like answering direct questions, and I really don't want to discuss E3 games, so let me give you something you can discuss for the next couple years.

Im guessing its going to be pretty much a given, that this year at E3, Xbox will have the better conference. Now, yes, this is all subjective...but when the gaming sites are going to say who won...they will say "microsoft".
Halo, Gears, and Forza plus whatever new IP's they will unveil this year, are such a strong driving force in the game market...and yes, E3 is in the US, so this is not a global win...but as perception globally will be noted.
Sony does and will have a strong line up of games, there are all the multiplats, regardless of who co-markets/pays for timed exclusivity/ or dlc...that will sell the system, and the One''s too.
The biggest "win" for Sony, this year...Im gonna guess its going to be a price drop...hopefully to 299.00, but most assuredly to 349.00, with holiday bundles easily hitting the 299.00 level, and maybe even a bit lower.
This isnt saying that Sony will start performing lower in the NPD's, its just my opinion on how this E3 is going to play out...and im putting it in words!

We'll probably get a release date for Day of the Tentacle Remastered though!

Depends, it would only take one or two big spectacular AAA reveals to out-hype Halo and Forza, and even Gears.
Let's face it, Halo 4 did little to prevent the PS3s eventual climb on top of the 360 worldwide, and a lot to erode the hype for the series amongst the general public. The MP beta has been out for months now and it's reception has been pretty mixed.
Forza may deserve it but it still doesn't command the hype of a GT game, again, amongst the general public.
A new Gears would be big for a lot of people but let's say Horizon turns out to be something really special, and we get a couple of other reveals big and small... There's no clear winner in that scenario.
