Namco Bandai is only game distributor, not publisher. But I'd say the risk is not about flopping, but about not delivering what they promised to thet people that paid for it in advance.Haven't thought of it this way, however the financial support from Namco Bandai should be there and from what I've read the game is selling well so they're not risking a flop and immediate studio shutdown. Anyway I'll probably buy some DLC's (I want BTCC asap!), but I won't be spending my money on all of them so that I won't ruin my budget.

Does anyone else on PC find the anti-aliasing really poor in this game? They all barely make a difference. I've tried every combination/DSR. Shimmering is notably bad.

I don't think that had anything to do with it did it? Ian Bell posted in their official forums earlier this week that it was in the certification process with Sony and MS and should release sometime next week.
Yeah, I was being facetious. There was a theory going around that the two were linked though.
Which totally explains the hold up with the PC patch. Which can be deployed at any time on the PC since there isn't any certification process for steam.

awesome. I have a thrustmaster tx set up, but its not always ideal to pull it out and set it up to play, especially if i only have time for a few laps. hope there is a significant improvement with the pad, excited to check it out this aftrnoon. thanks.

Forgot to record my Laguna Seca rain race which would have made some great gifs.
Only got the 2 lap sprint with clear weather. I did trade 1st a couple times after qualifying first for both the sprint and the full 5 lapper.

Buy the T300, the G29 is an over priced G27 which is a horrible clunky piece of shit imo. It gave me nothing but grief before I moved on to my fanatec CSR.
Finally got around to quickly trying out some of the DLC cars. I really loved how wild the F1 GTR can be and it sounds great too and the Bentley is surprisingly nice to drive too and sounds stunning with it's super throaty growling.
G29's 400 RRP is a serious kick in the nuts though, I was really hoping to get it, but it's wildly out of my price range at the moment. Might have to just pick a used DFGT in the meantime.

Used helmet view for it, and I kind of like it. Towards the end of the 2nd lap, you'll see there must have been a collision behind me and there are some free tires in the middle of the track =\
They really need to have something clean that up. Although if it just disappeared I don't know how I'd feel about that.

Downloaded patch 1.4, and now I can't load races. Game loads fine but gets stuck at the loading screen for any type of race.
There are FFB clipping issues being reported too.
Have you reported your race loading issue? Anyone else having similar problems there?
No problems for me with the new patch.
I've tried today the Bentley GT3 for the first time and what a beast. Very fun to ride. Will have to check the setup though. I've also tried the F1 Longtail and it reminds me of the Sauber C9. It's very, very twitchy.
Based on these two cars, I'd say Icons is not the right name for the DLC, should have been Untamed.
About the patch itself, I don't find it tthat much differente. Maybe it's just changed the defaults and since I don't run on defaults it doesn't feel thaaaaat different? Anyway, what I felt, I liked. It feels a tiny little more organic and progressive to me. No clipping at all here.

Verifying game cache fixed the loading issue
They showed a fix that was working quite well some months ago. It looked very good in my eyes. I hope they implement it soon enough.

My Fanatec is ready.
It's now up on PSN.
Not sure TBH, it was a 4 round event, Snetterton 300, Donington GP, Silverstone Int and Oulton Park Int, all cracking tracks to drive the Capri on, what a glorious car that it.
I was going to finally get round to buying the game with my discount coupon and because of the sale I can't even buy it. The coupon makes the basket fail every time.

Great news! They increased AF in this patch to fix the blur and also fixing anti-aliasing ghost effect.
You got the game didn't you?
Any screenshots of the new AF and AA for the PS4?

Oh, wow, you paid 25 and expect to get the same content than someone that put twice what you paid.
Seriously, you want to stretch those 25 way further than possible.
You got the game at release and you will receive more than 25 back in 2 months, what is your problem?
