Mario's transformation into a fighting character was obviously inspired off of the template of Ryu from street fighter. Fireball, uppercut, spin attack

Not really? His moves were all things he had since basically the NES/SNES days man, maybe they used ryu as a rough template for how Mario could work in a sense but the moves were already there they just happened to fit in with Ryu's defined moveset. Plus Mario has the Fludd now as a special move anyway. His final smash is a different story though.

Who needs Ice Climbers when we can have yet another bland Fire Emblem swordsman and a guest character from a franchise that has seen virtually none of its entries on Nintendo consoles since the SNES era?

Sigh. I guess I just need the accept that the Smash Bros roster will continue to disappoint even with DLC.

Honestly he has way more than Snake; Street Fighter II was huge on SNES.
Plus Smash and more or less every popular fighting game franchise owes its existence to SF2. He's not the most exciting 3rd party guest (I'd still really dig Rayman or having Snake come back from Konami's pachinko grave) but he's still justified.

good job in saying what he already said

It's a 3DS issue. Parity. Wasn't it confirmed as much?

New levels too? I wonder if Fountain of Dreams will come back.

I'd like some more N64 levels myself.

Drop Wii U support, get rewarded by getting your characters into Nintendo games, gotcha.

There better be Capcom games announced for Wii U at e3.
Yep. After all, we fondly remember all those great Konami games for Nintendo after Snake appeared in Brawl.

This is the leakiest E3 in recent memory.

+1, I mean, it's beyond ridiculous at this point. Kind of funny too since we were all talking about how its been so quiet over the past couple of months with next to no leaks, and now over the past week, well...

Roy was one of mains in Melee so I'm glad he's making it back in. Will be interesting to see more of Ryu, though. I can't really think of any Smash characters who he'll play similar too.

You forget this launch title?

Chun li is iconic but come on dude lol

more iconic than motherfucking Ryu? lol

How is Chun Li more iconic? That's like saying Luigi is more iconic than Mario.

Also do you guys think we will get another Namco character? Jin Kazama? Heihachi? Sophitia?

Damn! Well, Chun-Li is the most cosplayed character at least! hahah. But yeah definitely it's like saying Luigi is more iconic than Mario. Ryu was the best choice :D

Damn. Ryu looks like he transferred really well. Shit looks straight up like SF4 Ryu. Focus attack and everything. Really interested to see how he plays in the smash engine.

Wii U is only half the equation. Capcom is one of the bigger 3rd parties on 3DS because of Monster hunter. On top of that they have two 3DS ace attorney games in development (Though they've only hinted at AA6 rather than outright shown footage or confirmation). And Megamans new collection thing is coming to 3DS.

We all know Wii U is a waste of money for everyone involved in development. Unless Nintendo helps out by footing some of the bill or giving them i.p. to use, there's no point for any third party to make a wiiu version of anything.

Posting this from another forum from one of the same guys leaking this stuff.

There's a few more trophies added besides the obligatory character-related ones -- Ken and the Inkling Girl.
New Mii outfits, haven't checked 'em fully but there's headgear for Akira and Jacky (Virtua Fighter), Heihachi, Isabelle, Mega Man.EXE and Zero.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
Hmm... I wonder if Nintendo and SNK got some nice friendships. Because I wouldn't mind Wolf and a certain "legendary wolf" team up like this.

But hey. It's cool. Can you add Ice Climbers now?
>implying devs can't change their minds over time

In the boring clone line directly behind Roy and Lucas, just a few steps ahead of Pichu.
He still thinks Lucas and Wolf are clones!

Let's laugh at him!

Hahahahahahahaha!

Wait what? I mean the characters are not surprising but these videos are classic mode victory videos, not just filenames. These characters can't be already done right?
