So glad they made time to showcase this wondrous game during the Sony conference so people will take notice of it and it won't become a sales casualty like Puppeteer.

Oh wait...

It does seem like it has pretty weak exposure. Even GAF ignores it completley. :/

They showed it last year didn't they, or was it another conf? But I kinda liked that almost everything at Sony's conference was either new or hadn't been at a conference before.

The SE with a cute little plushie might be difficult to resist.

Definitely getting that one. Is it still not up for sale yet?

Sort of like the Vita release that came out same day as CoD and I believe Xbox One.

Lol they spent more time on games not coming out for a long while for some reason. Tearaway is a legit amazing platformer, easily the beat to ever come out of a sony studio, but not having any gameplay to entice the world at E3 was depressing and seems to be sending this game out again

3D World, Zelda, and Xbox One.

Tearaway had no chance lol

I think it won't have chance again. The game just for whatever reason didn't resonate among the majority of consumers. It's a shame, since it has the appeal and quality of Nintendo titles.

I feel as though Sony's conference could have gone for 30 minutes longer and it would have been fine. Probably the effect they were going for, but I wanted more.

Even just a 2-3 minute segment on Tearaway would have greatly helped its exposure. I also expected to see the UC trilogy remaster and some new R&C stuff.

In fact it felt as though a lot of stuff was cut from the Sony conference. Heck the new PS4 media player was announced and released afterwards, there was no firmware talk whatsoever.

They got stage time in a conference. It wasn't E3 2014 so it must have been Gamescon. It's probably why it wasn't shown this time.
It was Gamescom, and this trailer isn't that much different from what they showed then, really.

If they showed it then people would have been going 'we saw this last year, show something new'.

PlayStation App Second Screen support's in for touchscreen paper cutting and photo-textures.

Like Wind Waker, characters' eyes stay bright in the dark so you can always see some expression.

Thinks buying more servers can fix a bad patch
Awesome news. This is precisely why the remaining few Vita games should be remastered for the PS4

I loved the original, this looks fantastic too. The gif camera is a brilliant idea.
It's a real shame this is being sent to die in September.

I don't think the release date by itself will kill it. It just seems the title doesn't have much of excitement built around it. Why? I have no idea. But it's sad knowing that such creative games can't have better market success. :/

Little to no marketing. And it seems like a hard game to show off. It's got a nice art style, but many people would just mistake it for some indie game at a glance.

I'm looking forward to it. Haven't played it yet but it seems like my type of game.

Not sure how good it will feel to control with the PS4 controller, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I don't know why Sony isn't marketing the hell out of this. It's not like they have that many exclusives this Holiday so why not give this a little push?

loved this on vita. if it's been expanded upon in a good way i'm more then happy to jump in again. the style was one of the most unique and interesting worlds i've seen due to it's uncompromised paper craft nature. plus it oozed charm and handled perfectly. i can't wait.

The lack of marketing around it and the fact it's a remake of an older game with more content definitely is a big part of it.

But it coming out the same month as Phantom Pain, Mad Max, Skylanders and Lego Dimensions definitely doesn't help its chances.

Between this and Tomorrow's Children, I don't know which I should be sadder for. We're going to see this game bomb again aren't we? :(.

No one knows this game exists.

Wow. an E3 trailer for a sony PS4 first party title that has been up for a week generated 428 views on youtube.

Is there really no interest?

I have a feeling that this will rank amongst my favourite games ever from a visual point of view. The paperworld looked amazing on Vita but i can't wait to see this world come alive on a big television (and running on more powerful hardware).

Easily one of my most anticipated games for the rest of the year. Such a happy, fresh and colorful game.

Depresing.

What does this have to do with weak marketing?

I mean there are multitude of games with zero marketing which have passionate fan base, this just didn't happen with Tearaway.

It seems people are just not interested. :/

The Vita install base was part of the problem to be sure, and then those that do have a Vita wouldn't consider it hardcore enough. I loved it, personally, played it start to finish together with my then 5 yo son. Look forward to this having multiplayer.

Huh, I don't think I've read anything about multiplayer.

Damn. This is the kind of thing Nintendo should be doing with the Wii U gamepad.

I'm very excited for this. I could not afford a Vita as well, though I nearly bought one just for this game. I was so happy when it was announced for the PS4, though I know it will be slightly different. It's a shame this isn't generating much hype, but it looks wonderful. Probably my only other instabuy later on in the year next to Battlefront.
