Yeah I'm surprised I typed in Dragon Ball Z into the iOS App Store and it wasn't the first app, but like middle way down with all these fake apps above it. Surprised they aren't sued.

Meh, games pretty boring. All it does is remind me of the epic Dragon Ball Z game on the gameboy color that was kind of card game-ish.

that was awesome :D but you can see that bamco put way more money in op tc than in this game...

So my first pull was Roshi. Then I went through the tutorials and got 5 dragon stones and thought "oh sweet I can get someone better now"

and I pulled down fucking Yajirobe. My team is shit.

To everyone asking about rerolling, here's my $0.02:

I've played One Piece Treasure Cruise a looooot, and having a strong character, while not vital, really can make a big impact later on. Starting out it's all the same, everyone does well, but later raid bosses and events can be done easier with the right characters. It also depends on how much time you want to put into it, because you can be very unlucky with RNG.

My advice if you have the time is to keep rerolling (the first pull and the second with the 5 stones after the first tutorial, if you want to go that far). If you didn't get a SSR, reroll. [NOTE: To reroll I've had to delete, reinstall, and press "Restart" when prompted]

IF! You find two characters you like, do the transfer device in the options. That way you'll have the code for your favorite team for a while (not sure how long, OPTC is a week). For me, I got lucky. Second reroll was SSR Vegeta and Android 18, good abilities and team so I'm sticking with them.

Personally, I'd say give it maybe 10 tries max. After that, pick you favorite team and get on with the game. They'll be plenty of chances to be screwed by RNG again :)

Rolled, got Krillin and Nail.

While I wanted to keep Krillin, decided to reroll, because...well... It's NAIL.

(Then again, watch as I find out that Nail is secretly a stealth tier-one meta character)

I've been playing for about 90 mins, I just beat
some crappy cell
in the story mode, I've also beaten the Raditz event, I'm a rank 10. I think the STR thing is like recommended rank?

I got android 18, they are ok.

The training system is the quickest way to level up. Game is great, makes me wish marvel puzzle quest had the same kind of animations!

Huh, the Android store very specifically says in the "What's New" section.

- people whose device is in developer mode or rooted can now normally play the game.

edit- Just installed and pulled my boy Krillin. I'll take that.

Still not updated here in the UK. I've exited the app and the store a few times but it doesn't prompt an update.

Same screen telling me I can't play.

Apparently there is some hope for us on Jailbreak. Something called xCon on Cydia disables the jailbreak check. Hopefully they will add this game to their list someday.

is there a good way to reroll?

Uninstall the game, redownload it, and start over. This whole process from start to finish takes MAYBE 5-6 minutes. Just make sure you have wifi. The game is nice enough to only do a bare minimum download before the tutorial which makes rerolling easy.

Aight, I'm working on a OT right now, might be a bit short of info seeing as there's no wiki or anything to get info from ^^'

I'm using Doid4x, only takes me a minute or less to get the first pull.
Maxed Hawk in OPTC now back to ssr farming.

Honestly, this game is the easiest rerolling I've seen. Because you can skip cutscenes, the longest part for me is actually the download to get into the battle with Herc.

Got Cell and Android #17. Not particularly impressed with #17, but first form Cell is cool. I'll run with it.

Edit: Ehhh... seeing that there's an "UR", kind of want to keep rolling until I get it. hrm.

Second pull; it is SUPER easy to tell if you got it because Goku will be Super Saiyan before pulling back, unless I was imagining that he wasn't SS in all the other pulls.

Nope, i got a lot of ss goku and only got sr chars...but i'm also only doing the first pull :/ maybe you can't get a ssr as youzr first pull

I got two SR Andriod 18, one blue the other red.

Seems useless to have 2 I cant use them on the same team.

They're different types - some enemies resist your type and can be useless if you bring someone who isn't super effective against them.

I'd be in the dick
Got Chi Chi on my first roll. This game does that annoying thing where it doesn't fully download so I can't play past the first tornament right now since I'm just on my data.

Liked the start but I really hate how a lot of recent iOS games just vomit a ton of words at you for a tutorial. Always goes in one ear and out the other.

It's a lot at first, but it gets easier pretty quick. It's almost exactly the same as One Piece Treasure Cruise when it comes to units, leveling up, assembling your team etc... I'd say the combat is easier because this is just turn based while OPTC is more focused on tapping on the right time for a perfect.
