thats still a Thursday, doesnt really counteract the point. unless they're implying a German release date and Germany/Europe gets their releases on Thursdays whereas USA gets it on Tuesday
also, yeah, being a year away doesn't make any sense either. no patches for a year and a half?

I think people are heavily misremembering the combat in Vashj'ir. I've done it on probably 5 different characters in the last few years and it has never been an issue.
The quests are fine as well, other than sharing the same problems that all Cataclysm era quests and zones have.

Have you done it on a melee only class?
I did it first with my rogue and never understood the complaints, never found the positioning stuff to be that bad. But then again I did have 6 years of practice before hand doing under water quests in other zones. I blame that shitty Zangarmarsh Eel quest that took me an hour to finish.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of the zone as well. Easily my favorite 80-85 cata zone.

Am I truly meant to believe that when Vol'jin & Thrall talk to Varian at the end of Siege of Orgrimmar that the 25 raiders of the Horde/Alliance cannot understand a single word the opposite faction is saying?

In other news, got lucky with an empowered apexis fragment dropping off a rare, saving me 20k apexis/2-3 days of dailies.
"Leak" smells fishy. Why would they push an update to their website fours days before a reveal. Usually that stuff is pushed out day of or during the announcement to prevent things like this happening.
Blizzard isn't dumb. They know people will scrape every trace of information.
I remember a friend of mine who plays FF14 telling me that one of the big wigs at Square begged players not to datamine patch updates, haha. I like how Blizzard just admitted defeat and nowadays just put the ingame cinematics up in good quality as soon as possible.

This poster specifically has posted stuff that was true before. Granted he found the information a bit differently, seems like it would be a little bit of a weird thing to do.
Regardless, finding out there will be a new race and a new class isn't really the biggest of leaks, it kinda goes without saying that would be the case actually, no leaks necessary.

It doesn't look at simple as that. It's more that the CMS version was updated and he's gleaning possible changes from digging through de-obfuscated/minimized js.
It's not like he'll necessarily find leaked images or content, but he might find some small piece of code that allows you to infer a new class or race.
I think he may be confusing "multi class" here for the WoW meaning of class and not the code meaning of class, but this is an example of what he's finding:

This speculation is just one reason why Blizzard shouldn't push updates to the website before the announcement date. That code change was probably up for only a few hours before that guy noticed and posted it on MMOChampion. It might not even be indicative of anything in the announcement.

If I'm Blizzard, I don't want to be pushing infrastructure updates alongside content updates during probably the busiest website hours of the year.
They do about as good a job you can at obfuscating this stuff.
Unless that person posts the source code that they scraped from the cms, I'm calling fake on that bit.

He went through all this trouble to fake something that is incredibly obvious anyway? It's not even confirmation of anything, at most it's just showing that they have some 7.0 stuff on the website ready to go.
Managed to get 67 pages of people talking about the info. Some people just enjoy the publicity enough.

Probably took up a lot of man hours so they said fuck it, but really, inactive for 2 whole expacs? If I don't get it whatever, I have something else that can work if I need it to.
In other news, raid team turmoil a-bewing slightly. Mostly it comes down to the time restriction of 6 hours a week and progression vs. farm when there's still important loot (tier) to be had for about 1/3 to 1/2 the raid team from the first 6 bosses. People who have been geared out from the loot council seem to want to focus more on progression, while those lacking gear (like me) are more intent on farming. And with the loot council, it's been sort of a rich get richer situation with people who were awarded tier early got awarded more tier to fill out 4 sets before others even had two-sets, not necessarily following a specific priority that would increase overall raid effectiveness.
So I'm not entirely happy right now. And like I think I mentioned before, it's a Catch-22 in regards to the possibility of leaving the team, since I wouldn't have any upward (or even lateral) mobility without decent logs....which I need gear for at this point.

Because November 11 is a federal holiday in many countries.
I don't know how important All Saints' Day is internationally and March 9 is not out of the question.

But to be honest I'm not really even mad, I'm fine as long as it gets us the info faster. I just really want to know the setting. Still hoping they will throw a curve ball and the next expansion will be something weird/new but I just assume they are going to play things really safe after how WoD turned out.
It's not sabotage, lol.
The only thing I'm hoping for is that they finally update the Boomkin & Treant models. I can't believe I took a five-year break and those models are still the same.
