Would have been better if it were just Todoroki and Midoriya, no one cares for Ida, and all his moments this chapter were weak and distracting. Oh well at least the next arc is fastly approaching.

I think he will just get stronger and be less of a stick. Also it seems the plot was more an excuse to get Deku to kick ass and Todoroki to show his dual powers.

I feel like Horikoshi is probably creative enough to find something more interesting than Iida just turning heel (for the same reason I hope Bakugou just stays an asshole and doesn't turn heel)
My guess is
while he doesn't do a heel turn, he ends up being responsible for something horrible happening. With Horikoshi being a big fan of Marvel, I'm willing to bet that Iida will be the setting's Hank Pym

Maybe it could be announced soon, it only just passed its 1yr anniversary, the soonest a series as of late has got an anime announcement that fast from jump was World Trigger (announced around its 63rd chapter).
It will 100% get an anime, but not for quite awhile, and it could get made by someone horrible like Toei or Pierrot. Read the manga.
My money is on Sunrise, the more I think about it the more it makes sense.

They would be afraid of money if Toei didnt get this. It has potential to be the next DBZ/OnePiece phenomenon, 1 - 1 storytelling is needed for this. The people that worked on Toriko need to do this.
