Dude, come on. What the heck are you talking about on a message board about knocking on someone's door like Big Bertha and solving other people's problems. You'd be regarded as a crazy person. The parents would call the cops on you and the article would come out and be reposted here and people would mock you for it.
They're brothers, they share things. He probably takes care of his little brother. They share the same blood. He's out there everyday dealing with people who look at his sibling and think he's a weird kid. Do you think it pleases him?
Whoop dee doo he put those components in his station which the little one could also use. The parents don't know? You think they think in terms of having only one kid? They don't know what's going on?
Remove the autistic kid out of the equation. Take all those messages, simply from this thread, not even Reddit, targeting the older brother, saying how much of a dick or an asshole he is, package it together, send it to their parents, see how great that feels. See how good those people would feel about their son being lambasted over such a little thing. Do you think they'd understand? Who is the real asshole in that context?
In your world, dude is a straight up movie villain. He's just there to make his younger brother's life miserable. He's the bad guy. Same bad guy who says he can come in anytime and play. People just want a scapegoat, they need that bad guy. Pitchfork culture.

Okay so he took his little brother's goodwill gift from AMD it could have been fine and dandy, I mean reading stories here some of the older siblings doing to the GAF member is shitty too but this guy POST in a subreddit about taking his brother's goodwill gift from AMD.
That is what pissed me off the whole thing, I mean wtf was he thinking? Did he think the subreddit would please his e-peen because he took the parts meant for his brother and put it on his own? That act alone is disgusting enough that he felt like he needed to brag. There's literally no defending this POS of a brother.

I never said that it's acceptable to "send his brother to prison" or never did I condone death threats. Don't put words in my mouth.
But if you defend the brother, you're a piece of shit. That's not an overreaction.

I can see people defending the older brother's life and wellbeing. I can't see anyone defending and condoning the specific actions he committed to his younger brother.

I think people are overreacting and making a mountain out of a molehill (but that's sort of what the internet does) but that doesn't mean I condone the brother's actions. Those are two different things. Put down your pitchfork.

I think threatening people with death (or other forms of harm) (even in jest) is honestly the worse evil here... only the one that happens to be more common and somewhat more socially accepted.
But just remember, social acceptance of ignorance doesn't mean that the behaviour isn't deplorable or harmful.
