Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition - Steam Page

All coming to NA first, then EU

Wow, all three games look like a blast :D!

Sun & Moon looks awesome due to its creative gimmick (diving into the ground and using that to jump higher), Paranautical Activity looks like really fun old-school FPS (and it will complement Duke Nukum 3D Vita nicely :D) and Three Fourth's Home looks interesting.

Great games coming to the Vita in the future and I will try all of them out :D.

Paranautical Activity is probably gonna sell well. Voxel (=Minecraft to most) + FPS. They should release it in Japan.

It has Minecraft elements? The Steam trailer looks more like a FPS to me....guess its a mixture of the two elements. If that is the case, smart move; the building gives the game more depth while the fast-paced shooting looks really fun :D.

If your commenting on the games look instead with referencing Minecraft, that is also really cool too :).

I can't imagine Paranautical to have a decent framerate on Vita.. but I'd love to be proven wrong. The game runs pretty awful for me on Steam, all things considered.

Paranautical Activity is a roguelike FPS that has a decent reception but a bit of controversy surrounding it. The dev once jokingly threatened to kill Gabe Newell and the game was removed as a result but came back later under a new publisher.

Could be great on the Vita if it's a good port. Sun and Moon also looks interesting.

It really depends on who is making the Vita port; if its a studio who knows what's there doing, it should run well with a few sacrifices here and there (non-native res to help boost the frame rate).

Wow, that is crazy :(. Guess the developer should have been careful with making jokes; stating things online can lead to a lot of confusion of tone/intention/meaning/ect due to the lack of seeing the persons face (its hard to tell if people are joking or not online for example).

Glad the game went back on steam and the game is now coming to Vita :D.

After clicking on the first one I thought "probably 3 more games I'm not interested in", but Paranautical Activity looks alright. Getting a bit of a slating in the Steam user reviews though.

In other news, reminds me that Gunscape was supposed to be coming. Devs still seem interested in doing it when I tweeted them a fortnight ago:

https://twitter.com/blowfishstudios/status/629049705834479617

Take the Steam reviews with a grain of salt, they're probably influenced by the devs being huge dicks to a lot of people.

That is true sadly :(; even if the game is good (Fez), if the developer is a prick to people, they link the game to the developer being a prick, leading to what should be a good/great game being an utter piece of trash.

Or it could have an even greater side-effect; a bad game gets into 'Never touch' catagory if the developer is very toxic with the community (see Digital Homicide vs. Jim Sterling for example....).

The day it launched, it got really nice placement... but still had a big 'early access' logo across it. The dev [who was probably super psyched up for the launch] sort of lost his mind and went on a rather awful train wreck of a twitter rant, as he was super concerned the 'botched' launch he was so excited for would cause the game to lose a lot of momentum on it's first day.

He has since stepped down and sold his share of the company, from what I can tell.

Lesson - don't tweet when upset.

That is a shame things went so bad for him :(. But at least his game came out and was a success for his studio in the long run (it getting a Vita port is a sign of that) :D.

So, I tried to Google it but haven't seen any update since October of last year... has there been any update about 1001 Spikes on the PAL Store since then? What on earth could be taking Nicalis so long?

My physical Vita collection is very small, as I sell them fairly often. Also, I play digital PSP games on the system (read: P3P) mostly these days.

I love that about the Vita; its ability to play PSP and PS1 games really opens up its library to a lot of games you might have not played :D.

I missed out on a lot of the PS1 and PSP library back then, so as you can see from my list of games, I tried catching up over time :).

Only missing the Parasite Eve series, Resident Evil 1-3 and a few of Square's games (want to get FFVII in the future at some point....). I know they were on sale but didn't have the funds to get them then :l.

I have 188 titles for my Vita (native Vita titles, among retail and digital titles). I'll need to take a picture of my collection someday, probably by the end of the year, since my picture would be more elaborate than that as I have a lot of limited editions.

Love seeing that. Long live physical retail games! And death to an all digital future!

Seriously, it's gonna be an extremely sad day if/when all games become digital. I hope that day never comes. Physical collections like what you posted are a thing of beauty.

I have 369 digital games for my Vita (native, plus ps1/psp that actually work on it).

203 native, 53 ps1, 113 psp/minis.

I won't bother listing them. I have a problem. Anyone that thinks the vita doesn't have a library doesn't know what they're talking about, thats for sure.

I think I have around 3 or 4 physical.

Well this thread has made it easy for me.

I am now going to get a Vita within the week! I knew there were always games I was interested in but never really gave it too much heed. Already got a list that I wanna get!

Next week Revelations 2. Massive amount of games. Wish they would all just release soon. Salt and Sanctuary is a must.
Still kind of bummed about galak z

Salt and Sanctuary, one of my most anticipated Vita releases. Still no release date yet right? The devs must really be fine tuning the game, while adding as much depth as they can, before they consider it done.

Space Hulk has a release date for physical copies of September 25 on Amazon UK. It's original placeholder date was July, so I wonder if this is a bit more solid?

It's a port of the PC turn-based strategy game, which was a much closer take on the last version of the board game than the shooter iteration.

Still slightly gutted we're not getting Ascension, but I'll still buy this. Looking forward to it.

What. A. Collection. Amazing.

Well this thread has made it easy for me.

I am now going to get a Vita within the week! I knew there were always games I was interested in but never really gave it too much heed. Already got a list that I wanna get!

Welcome aboard, you will have a LOT of stuff to enjoy :D!

Just got my Vita! Went with the Borderlands 2 bundle since it already comes with a memory card and I hate buying hardware used.

Got 50$ worth of PSN credit to go with it and of course Persona 4 Golden! Also am going to upgrade my memory card in the coming weeks

If only she wasn't so blasé.

Is it just me or do JP Vita games seem surprisingly affordable? I'm used to dropping $70-$80 on JPS3 games, but Tokyo Xanadu's only going to be $50.

So after about a day with a vita, I am in love. I haven't stuck with one game yet but kinda playing bits and pieces of what I do have. So I downloaded Disgaea 4,Terraria and SotN. I got Persona 4 golden physical. And then from cross buy/ps plus I have a few but I only deciedd to download Hotline Miami and the swapper for now. But man is it an awesome machine! Really glad I got one. Lighter than I expected too which is cool and I never even realized that the screen is touch screen which is really cool. So far I am really impressed with this hardware and the offerings of jrpgs I can get and various indies and the old PSP and PsOne games. This little machine will probably be my number one gaming plat until probably Persona 5 is released for the PS4

Glad to hear that you are loving it! Much to look forward to as well! Stick around in this thread and you'll find much to see in the coming updates :D

Thanks for the update Fady!

You are most welcome my friend :) Thank YOU for the constant news updates here as well! Enjoy today's update :)

I'm trying to decide how to spend my $25 in credit. I'd rather not get something that's just going to show up on PS+ in a few months (or which has been on PS+ in the last couple of years). My only PS system is the Vita. Any recommendations?

(BTW, I own almost no Vita games, but have access to pretty much all of the PS+ games.)

Oreshika is pretty good. Depends on what you like to play though. Just pick something from the next sale.
