White smoke from the Sistine Chapel, often indicating an election of a new Pope.Hmm?
(A coincidence since I happened to have visited the place yesterday!)

I cant imagine this guy (laughs) much.
Sakurai Soon
I'm sure Miyamoto and Takeda are there to consult him. He's not steering the company alone.Slightly worried that he doesn't have a strong development pedigree, but we'll see how it goes. I can't help but be paranoid and think that a "numbers guy" could go in a Capcom-like direction.
I hope it's a transitory postion. Nintendo is in dire need of new blood, young people with great ideas. Like Iwata once was when he and others deviced the DS and Wii.
This is the guy who moved from Nintendo of America to Nintendo of Japan when Iwata became CEO of Nintendo of America: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=545992

He also likes to stay behind the scenes, so don't expect him in Nintendo Direct or development interviews, or even at E3.
Oh, no doubt. I just worry. :-/ Though when I imagine it being Reggie instead, I realize it could have been worse.I'm sure Miyamoto and Takeda are there to consult him. He's not steering the company alone.
Yeah, at the time a lot of people thought he was being moved to be CEO in the unlikely event a shareholder revolt happened.Yeah, my theory at the time was Iwata was consolidating his base in case the board started getting antsy about him.
Well the DS was Yamauchi's idea and Iwata had been on the board of Nintendo before becoming President, which, uh, isn't really new blood.
I why people on this forum are bringing up Mr. Kimishima's age here. It is possible that he can be a long-serving president at Nintendo.

Saying the DS was Yamauchi's idea is a tad oversimplifying, and Iwata was definitely new compared to virtually everyone else in senior management.
Regardless, new ideas are what this company needs, no matter where they come from.
Nintendo has celebritized enough of their developers that the CEO doesn't need to come out and show things.
I imagine Miyamoto and Konno will debut the next hardware.

Who will be the American CEO now?
Maybe Takeda too since he's in charge of the tech side while Miyamoto leads the creative side.Probably Miyamoto.
Probably Miyamoto.
The man was like 18 when he took the company.Yeah. It's crazy to think that Yamauchi was president of Nintendo for 53 years! :/
Probably someone we don't know about.Who will be the American CEO now?
"Debut" as in "present to the public"? Because Miyamoto stated he isn't as active with the development of NX as it was in the development of preceding consoles.
Oh? I didn't hear that. Interesting. Even so though when it comes to Nintendo, Miyamoto is a recognizable figure and him showing it off would be a pretty positive thing."Debut" as in "present to the public"? I can see that.I guessing Reggie.
Perfectly fine. When Nintendo Directs happen, they can be hosted by Morimoto, their PR person or any one of their developers. The west will have Shibata and Bill Trinen.
Yeah, hopefully they can find someone to undo the commercial disasters that Iwata oversaw like the Wii and DS.
Honestly, I think Kimishima will both take over NOA Presidency like he had before, and I think he will do directs.
Bill?Who will be the American CEO now?

Although if it doesn't happen I understand.
Probably a Japanese senior executive.Who will be the American CEO now?
