For you.
I hope people aren't forgetting ISIS is still there and turning Syria into ISIS HQ. The Russians are here to make sure that doesn't happen if I understand correctly.
No they aren't. Assad doesn't care about ISIS, and neither does Russia.
So they are let into Germany and start destroying cop-cars and whatever. Yeah, keep defending this crap. This footage is frightening to watch.

/sarcasm.

Do you think these are actors or something. It's Frankfurt by the way.

EDIT: I misread the context of the video. Sorry.

Yeaaaah, that's what happens when you try to jump really fast to conclusions when trying to find anything at all to support your views, without actually knowing any facts. Who knew?

well expected. that refugee mess got out of control
Merkel should say thank u for Putin for that gift. strange Eu media aren't covering that aspect

*man enough to threathen people through PM so they shut up

sure. what a man

Your post clearly shows that your judgement and thought is so clouded by a racist bias that you quickly jump at absolutely anything you can to support your notion that "refugees are animals. Just look, they just got there and are already destroying everything! How can you defend thiiiiisssss?", that you choose to ignore any kind of fact-checking.

For you.
- You post a PM. This is banworthy.
- You say I am a racist. This is banworthy.

This is enough for me. Good day, sir (?).

Good luck with those made-up rules, and good luck realizing that trying to blackmail someone to shut up through PMs is more banworthy that both.

Blackmail? I have said that if you keep falsely accusing me of being a racist I will take action. You sir have some issues. I will hereby confirm to you that I will not talk to you anymore. Cheers.

80% are bearded men. Fact.

When I open my door it's like I am on vacation in Syria. No thanks brother.

This is my country. Our country. Our Europe. Why is our voice not heard? What in the actual fuck is wrong here in Europe for fuck sake.

When called out for racist views:
My girlfriend is black so if I were you I would take back your "comment" really quickly

Really now? Man enough?

Did anyone here say that specifically these two people are war refugees?.

There are many people saying that as long as they are originally from Syria that they are refugees. These articles are from the BBC/Guardian and aren't supposed to show the refugees in a bad light - why should they? Do you really think that these people are that dissimilar from the average person who has travelled through several safe countries in order to reach their destination of choice? Of course not.
Merkel said all refugees from Syria would be accepted so I have no doubt that many left poor but safe conditions in order to take her up on that offer

I don't have a problem with people leaving poor conditions to seek a better life. I admire them and wish them success. I just don't like this idea that they are refugees escaping death and persecution, landing at our doorstep and we are being Bad Samaritans by asking them to register properly or join the queue with the other economic migrants. It's dishonest.

Listen. I am no racist. I said I had a black girlfriend to hopefully convince some doomsayers here that I am indeed not a racist. This is the last I will say about it. Choose whatever you want to believe. I don't give a shit anymore. You refuse to listen anyway. I edited my post to say I made a mistake because I judged too quickly. That's it.

I'd be more worried about repeatedly sounding like one, than being accused of it.

But sure, just close your borders with him and it will all go away!

Not sure if this was posted yet, but holy shit!

Posted on the last page and instantly debunked. Thanks to the comments on that very video I think I've found the original, dated October 30th 2013. It says its a riot by footballs ultras supporting Borussia Dortmund. Maybe Germany should deport the ultras, we don't want a European civil war after all.

Dude, Youtube commenters managed to be more correct than you were. That like never happens. But hey, at least it's debunked once and for all.

EDIT: Wrong link, fixed it to the right one. That video has been getting around, linked to a claim that it was between ANTI-FA and PEGIDA in march this year by mistake.

No you are a coward who rather than face your racist statements and views would hide behind someone else to prove it. Your other comments speak for themselves. Your are only afraid of being called out as a racist.

Up. Its 7000 per week now. If this keeps up that's 98 000 just in the remaining weeks of this year. So far 59 000 have arrived.

They mentioned that they expect it to be a temporary high so it will probably downshift some before the end of the year, if for no other reason than because winter will make the journey more difficult so people might wait for spring. But yeah, we're so breaking 100K applicants this year.

hmm so Sweden is taking that many? i wonder how many we will take here in Finland. our economy is fucked, we're currently cutting benefits for almost all workers so we don't have much money to help people coming in from other countries.. difficult situation. could not have happened at a worse time.

how much are the rich countries in the gulf taking now, Saudi-Arabia and Qatar and UAE etc?

Saudi-Arabia says they have 2.5 million Syrians. Nobody really knows, because they don't count refugees. Probably a whole lot less, or all the international organisations are blind.

Qatar and UAE are basically taking none. Something about a lack of space last I read.

They do fund refugee camps in Lebanon and Turkey.

Next to nothing according to official statistics. They're spending a respectable amount on funding refugee camps in Turkey and Lebanon but they aren't taking in refugees in the same manner as Europe at all. Saudi Arabia did claim that they took in some outrageous number recently, something on the order of 2,5 million since 2011, but they were completely redefining the definition of refugees to include basically every Syrian in the country because they decided to waive visa requirements for Syrians and give them free healthcare and education until the end of the war.

They probably have taken in quite a large number of conventionally defined refugees but it's almost impossible to say how many because they just won't count them in a comparable way. A UNHCR rep estimated it as something like 500,000 but the Saudi officials have been all over the place with both denying the number and claiming more.

You are. But you are in a a very large minority. The polls don't lie. We don't want the refugees. These people don't care about our standards. They will cost us tons of money (which we will never get back) and they will continue to cause problems. I am sorry but my daughter is soon going to school near a place where these refugees are being held. She finds it scary, like the rest of the children at school. Think about that. When I open my door it's like I am on vacation in Syria. No thanks brother.

What exactly is she scared of? What does a child/kid exactly know about refugees?

Of course your daughter will find it scary, if you talk with her about these things like you do here, she is already full of bullshit about those damn Muslims starting to riot and worse. Great parenting. Or is a kid scared because of the economy? Yeah, right.

Also how is it any different if I would say for example "Wow when I go to the Bahnhof in Frankfurt I feel like I am in Africa on vacation, no thanks brother" and similar things you do about Syrians? You judge them by their looks just by going out of the door. Might wanna check with your GF is shes ok with you profiling people by their skin color and/or religion.

A Syrian Lawyer Took a Job as a Janitor to Learn More

Anas Al-Asadi spent three months and 6,000 euros ($6,785) making his way from his home in Damascus to Germany, braving the frigid waters of the Mediterranean aboard leaky, overcrowded ships on three separate occasions, culminating in a rescue by the Italian Coast Guard and finally a bus across the Alps. For the next four months, he was bored stiff.

Then the 26-year-old got a job through a municipal program in Pfungstadt, a German town 25 miles south of Frankfurt, where he landed in February. The work wasn’t exactly challenging for Al-Asadi, who had been an attorney in Syria, and it certainly wasn’t well paid.

His employer was a local youth club, since private companies are barred from hiring people without work permits, and he earned just 1 euro ($1.15) per hour, the maximum allowed for new arrivals.

Bloomberg

No wonder the old left wing and centrist parties are getting a wake up call in Europe from nationalists. They want to help the incoming refugees but the ruling parties have to either A) cut social programs in order to deal with the ongoing situation or B) remove existing labor protections so that all these individuals will have access to the market thus driving down wages.

It is just an impossible situation and feels like the perfect storm so to speak. First austerity is implemented and then we have a refugee crisis on top of that.

600k Syrian immigrants in Finland would drastically change what Finland is as a country. It would be interesting to watch.

It will fundamentally shift Finland's demographics. According to stats, about that amount of people are between 20-30 years old in Finland currently. Should the volumes of immigrants reach those numbers, it would mean that half of an entire generation are immigrants in Finland. And in the generation of their children, a majority would be second gen immigrants, as Finns have small families on average.

There is no way to ignore the religious or political views of such a mass, so there would be interesting discussions regarding gay marriage, women's role and alcohol.

I am wondering if numbers like that are ok people who believe EU should take everyone that is in need of asylum?

Or do they think the immigration would never reach such numbers, suggesting that what we currently are seeing is a short term anomaly that will self correct?

So apparently dozens of asylum seekers went back to Sweden upon learning that Finland isn't as good as they heard. Quick translation of the interpreters statement
- He ovat tulleet Suomeen huhujen perusteella. He odottavat liikoja ja pettyvät. Osa palaa heti takaisin Ruotsiin, Dawoud sanoo.
" They came to Finland based on rumours. They expected too much and were disappointed. Some of them are returning immediately to Sweden."

The whole situation is making me really, really scared tbh. Something's in the air, a collective boiling point in central and south Europe that's just going to overflow.

This is the biggest challenge of the EU by far. Yes, you could argue that the war in former Yugoslavia was a bigger deal but the EU and Europe as a whole was a different place. After nearly 20 years of stability, for the first time the modern, 21st century Europe faces a defining, huge moment in history which will either make or break the EU. And we're watching an uncertain future unfold, you literally can't make a definite prediction on how all of this will end. The only thing for sure is that it won't go on like this for long.

Jesus, what a time to be alive.

Here are some pictures Helsingin Sanomat published from Tornio, Finland today, where most of the refugees are from Iraq. The family in the picture is from Yemen.

There is no way that tye EU can survive this amount of immigration year after year if they don't find a way to stem the tide.

I had never been to Europe but I am totally going to have my honeymoon next year in France and Rome, then stay the heck away for the next ten years at least when shit hit the fan.

Interesting to watch? Sure if Civil War is your thing. 600,000 20-40 year old migrants in a country with an equal amount to that figure of 20-40 year olds is a recipe for destruction. It doesn't matter if it happens within 3 years or 10. There simply is not enough time period, to properly integrate (if it's even possible anyways, given France, UK, Germany as examples) that many people into Finnish culture. The contrast would be extremely fast, way too soon. It's like literally waking up in a different culture/country from today to tomorrow. Throw in the well known fact that the vast majority are men and well,... I hope most Finns got a cabin in the boreal forest.

Bu this applys to any Euro Nation that would take this many migrants in contrast to there current populations and the corresponding age brackets that the migrants fall in. Which is mostly 15-40 year olds.

Maybe the Elites and pro-migrants pushers truly are suicidal. The only difference is the elites have the money to move, but even they are running out of places to hide if they destroy Europe. The pro immigration left/liberals on the other hand and their all white enclaves will finally experience the diversity of their policies.

If things go like they are now, next year in Holland we will have totally new leadership. Leadership that is very much against the EU and the Schengen crap. Most probably things will change. France and Germany are going is the same direction.
Please elaborate on which parties in Germany are "against the EU and the Schengen crap" and what their chances are at the next elections.

My girlfriend is black so if I were you I would take back your "comment" really quickly. 100 meters from where I live is a detention area where these people live. They roam our streets and don't follow the rules. They don't show ID's to shopkeepers and so on. People have had enough. And I will tell you this; in 2016 things will change (in Holland at least). We are losing our national identity.

Reminds me of Donald Sterling. Ed, damn mobile

To treat fellow humans like this is just "Slovenian police "doing their job" ?
Just for your info, they used teargas on the activist from one of far left groups that tried to instigated a breach into police squadron. Sadly some innocent people caught the fumes, but medical team helped them.

Police is maintaining Schengen border without any incidents. Capacities were upgraded for 10.000 people in several refugee camps. Yesterday they processed over 1500 people (45% from Syria, 40% from Afghanistan, others from Iraq) and overnight over 1000 more were let in.
All migrants/refugees are checked, they receive hot meal, water, bed with blankets and medical check if they need it. After that, they either stay a day or two to rest or they leave with papers towards Austria.

It could get more tense when Austria will have their capacities full and will start returning migrants back to Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia.

(possibly) 35 Million migrants heading to Europe.

Sweden is going to have to empty out it's Ikea's.

I wonder if 35 million would be "too much" for Södertälje? Listening to this woman (Boel Godner, Social Democratic Party - she was part of the Swedish panel in the big Sweden vs Denmark immigration debate) it was disgusting to talk about a place being "full" and that Södertälje never would be "full".

Bring em on says Boel.

Germany is in the driver's seat of this whole mess. This chaos helps them claw away powers from national governments to a federate government in EU. When Hungary and Austria fail their commendable efforts to be the Schengen border Serbia and Greece were supposed to be, and they will, they have no option but to fold their power ro EU. This gives Germany more direct decision making power across Europe than it ever had.

On the way there, however, brace for Neo Nazism rising its ugly head and becoming embarrassingly mainstream in Germany.
