Holy shit what

EDIT:
'The Beginner's Guide is a narrative video game for Mac and PC. It tells the story of a person struggling to deal with something they do not understand." - From the website description. Anyway I loved Stanley Parable so I'm pretty excited for something new.

EDIT 2: Screenshots over at Polygon.

Love Stanley Parable so this is an incredible surprise.

It was only about a month ago I was wondering what the creator(s) of Stanley Parable were up to.

I almost wrote a post saying how it'd be nice if we had more info but... this is actually great. I love The Stanley Parable, and I believe Davey will surprise and amaze me again, so it's great to just dive into his next game without knowing anything :D Bring on October the 1st!

So many unanswered questions...

Like distribution method, price etc. No steam page atm, maybe there won't be one? Also no Galactic Cafe

Ohh. Cant wait.

Also for whatever reason the first thing that popped into my head was "I wonder if it will turn out to be Frog Fractions 2"

Was wondering if him and Will would continue to work together. : (

Regardless, very excited. TSP is a special thing.

Interesting... but it's quite risky to pretty much announce and release the game at the same time, especially for an indie dev.

Still, enjoyed Stanley, so I'll give it a go eventually.

I see it the other way around. Especially that is good for an indie dev to release it close after the announcement as there is no marketing campaign.
